Tired property but lively staff
Publié le 3 janv. 2021 sur HotelsThis hotel is probably the best in town but is due for a renovation. The parking is ample, the mattresses extra-comfortable and the manager super-cheerful. I would've used the pool or fitness room if Covid hadn't closed them.
There's little in the way of food, but the hotel is located on restaurant row (Memorial Drive), about a kilometer south of excellent Thai Plate.
I would definitely stay on business, not so much for couples or family vacations, as it's neither charming nor close to attractions (does Orillia even have tourist attractions?).

Thank you for staying with us and for your review. Glad you had a brilliant stay with us and you enjoyed the staff service overall. Orillia has one of the best tourist attractions in Ontario. Many attractions are temporarily closed due to COVID-19. Attraction can be found on the web under experience Simcoe. We are a business and family-style hotel in Orillia. Unfortunately, our Gym, Pool, and Whirlpool are closed due to COVID-19 safety guidelines.
We hope you will make the Best Western Mariposa Hotel your home away from home whenever your travels bring you to our city.

Super confortable. Notre arrivé était tard mais nous svons bien été accueilli. Il y avait plusieurs equipe de hockey a l'étage, et nous avons bien dormi car le bruit etait a un minimum contrairement a d'autres endroits ou je suis deja resté.

Smelled like manure upon arrival. Bathroom door worn on bottom, holes under bathroom sink, mold in corner of tub. Beds hard as a rock, heater very noisy.
