Publié le 25 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe spent an incredible week in this apartment. From the moment we arrived, we had all the relevant information for a stress-free start to our vacation. Everything was carefully prepared and ready for us.
The apartment met our needs perfectly, the rooms are large and well soundproofed, parking is easy. We felt right at home.
The location was also very easy to get to: close to main attractions like Disney and Universal Studios, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet in the evenings. The gated community watch was secure and all the staff are very friendly. The amenities offered at the Bahamas Bay Resort are incredible.
We couldn't ask for anything better and would recommend this apartment without hesitation to anyone looking for the perfect Orlando accommodation.

Good for what we needed
Publié le 13 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is pretty cut and dry. The gated commu ity makes you feel safe and its very quiet. You arent too far from a lot of things. We spent our time at Disney and it wasnt a bad drive.
Few things to note: there is not keurig, it is a coffee pot. Other than that it was great for what we needed it for.

Thanks for your kind review. Shame as i have to average 4.5/5 and be downgraded, as a coffee pot is still a coffee maker?
According to The Atlantic, the amount of waste from Keurig pods can circle the earth more than three times.
Thats why i chose not to have one.
Other than that all good. Thank you for staying.

Overall decent place
Publié le 26 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay, we did 6 days in the parks and it was in a good location. The property was a little dirty and the dryer did not work which was unfortunate because we packed light and were planning on using it. Floors were dirty but overall a nice place.

Yes the dryer (luckily there wasn't anything wrong, the air vent needed doing after the hurricane, hence it was blocked and overheating.
All done know though.

Buying a ground floor (first floor), was a big factor for me as there are no lifts and help disabled people have a good time too. (myself included)

Vacation time
Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was well presented as described, the host was most helpful, as there was/still is an issue with the safe, which sadly couldn't be rectified. The location was excellent (we have stayed at an alternative property at this site) and the staff were very polite. All in all we had a most pleasant stay, but my only comments would be regarding the cleanliness of the property. The towels were left dirty in the washing machine, there was a lot of dirt/rubbish under the beds, the floors were dirty, and the property had an issue with wildlife, over the two weeks we had Geckos, frogs, caterpillar's, cockroaches and large 3 inch black bugs in the apartment, most likely due to the small gap under the main entrance door. None of the above affected our stay, and were easily rectified. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone with mobility issues, as it is on the ground floor, with very easy access. We're looking forward to our next stay here.

Thank you, Andrew, for the honest review. I am coming out for my yearly 3-week vacation in November/to upgrade whatever has gone wrong the maintenance won't do.
I am very sorry about the door Andrew. You were the perfect guest.
I had no idea why housekeeping didn't pick up on it. You should have let me know, so I could help mate.
I will get this seen to asap.
* Completed, it was the weather seal broken under the door.. I have complained to maintenance about the cleaning standards. Bit unfair it varies so much between condos at times
