Great time in a huge house.

We did a management retreat here and had a great time. Everyone had more than enough room. The rooms were big and spread out. The home was clean and well appointed. Pool and hot tub were great also. Overall perfect. Will use again in the future.

Pest infestation - roaches

The house was full of pest roaches it was really disgusting. There was also only one pot for cooking. And no complimentary soap for bathrooms. The wifi was not working when we got to the house I had to reboot and no nextflix available on the TVs.

Keily, thanks for this retaliation review! I am really disgusted by this as I have seen anything like this in over my 10 years rental with 9 houses, and looking at the previous reviews future guests can make their judgement. When you booked the house you put 4 people as the total number of guests, despite my question, you insisted that there was only 4 in the group. After the stay, based one the left over birthday cake, various decorations, and various colored markings left on the floor and wall, there was a birthday party hosted! And you admitted afterwards. This already violated the resort rule on "no events" during pandemic! After the my local property manager finished the checkout introspection, we found that trashes were left in the swimming pool, including bottles, cans, fruit skins, various markings were left on the floor and wall, and 8 bath towels were taken. There were several kids bathing suites left behind in the pool area. We do pest controls weekly, when I asked for evidence, after 2 days delay, someone in your group text me a photo with ONE dead insect by the pool patio door. I am not sure why you claimed that "this house is full of roaches". Beside you never reported any issues to me nor to my local property management. If the house was in that condition, why you would ever stay there, let alone host a kids birthday, which would potentially harm the kids health? I wonder if other parents know about this. I know that you wrote this after I made a claim to the damages your party caused. End of the day, you refused to pay despite all the photos and evidences we submitted to Vrbo. Please be responsible and accountable. By the way, our TV and WiFi are always working, it may not have the paid channels you are specically looking. Again thanks or staying and at least I hope you had a great birthjday party there! Kenny

Rented this property for a 40th birthday. Everything was perfect. Communication with the owner was great. Easy check-in/check-out. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Very poor property maintenance

My asthmatic sister was coughing so much due to all the dust accumulated on tops and carpet. Also, the glass table lamp in room 9 was all broken and my 14 year old nephew almost cut a finger with it. Pool table needs to be replaced top is bumpy and sticks have no rubber on top. Table top soccer sticks had rubber detached. Carpets were stained and had a funny smell. All doors hinges were squeaking so they need oil. Pots and pans need to be replaced, they are so scratch that food get stuck in them. We found roaches in the kitchen. The trash taxi never past by the property so we had a the mountain of garbage accumulated in the front of the house.

Hi Marjorie, I am sorry that you didn't have a good experience. Thanks a lot for your time to send me this detailed comments and I took this very seriously. You stayed the house for 3 nights, yet only at the 3rd day, you mentioned about the dust in the house to my property manager and we never heard anything nor any evidence provided about the broken glasses or "roaches" in kitchen. This is very strange. Our property manager offered to come to look and send cleaner to clean as soon as he was informed, but you declined. Instead you asked for refund of 2 nights rent out of 3. I am not deny that there may be dust accumulated on the top of the kitchen cabinets as a result we have done a thorough cleaning after the busy holiday season was over and you are welcome to come to inspect. We perform regular pest-control, and I am just shocked someone would make such an allegation without providing any evidences or photos, simply just wanted to get most of the rent refunded. You can check out the reviews by other guests through the years, and we always try our best to provide the best possible experience to our guests. We will continue to do that. Again, very sorry for you and thanks a lot for provide this comment, and best of luck. Kenny
