Avis Beautiful Private Waterfront Villa on Quiet Cul-De-Sac, Pool & Spa, Wifi

We were very surprised with your review of our home. We wish we could have made your stay more comfortable and were completely unaware that you were unhappy while you were here. Unfortunately, central Florida was actually going through an extreme heat wave with temperatures reaching 110F during your stay. When we contacted our AC company (as our AC is only 2 years old), they advised us that all the ACs were struggling due to the extreme heat. They assured us that our AC system was not bad or faulty and was working better than most as we were getting a 30-degree difference between the outside and inside temperature. When our property manager mentioned that you were hot in the house, we asked him to purchase portable table fans for you (in addition to the ceiling fans in every room), to try and help with your comfort during the heat wave. We just checked the thermostat and actual temperature again this morning and it was set to 73F and the home was at that temperature. With regards to the walls and cleanliness of the home: Our home is professionally cleaned by bonded cleaners between each-and-every stay, so we were surprised to hear this. We have reached out to our cleaners to let them know your complaint as soon as it came to our attention in this review (since you did not point this out during your stay). Both the property manager and the cleaners advised that they are unsure of where the complaint was arising, as the walls are clean as was the entire interior of the home. It’s unfortunate that you did not point this out at the time as our property management and cleaning staff would have come to the site immediately to address any deficiency to keep it to your expectation. One additional point that we do want to be clear on however is this: There are no bedbugs in the home. Please know that as soon as we saw your review, we had the home inspected for bedbugs as we take this very seriously. I’m not sure what bugs you found on your luggage, but we can assure you that if they were bedbugs, per pest control, they did not come from our home as there is no evidence of them presently being there or any evidence they were previously there. As always. we want all vacations in our home to be the best it can be. If anything is ever not to your satisfaction, we encourage all guests to reach out to us as soon as any issues or concerns come to light. If they are in our control, we will take measures to resolve things as quick as possible to help you have the best stay possible. -Laurie and Rob
