It's A sorry thing when SOMEONE like wilbur Brown stay's with you . He doesn't want to pay for his stay and tries to get a refund after he stay's a night. Didn't ask you to come here and DAM SURE DON'T WANT YOU BACK.

Dirty floor, large gaps in outside door. Iffy clientel. Plastic wrapped mattresses and pillows (i was grateful )

IT is still a wonder to me that no one say's anything while staying with us but THEY CAN RUN THEIR MOUTH AFTER THEY LEAVE. AS for the plastic on the mattress we have them for people like you STEAVEN DAY.WE DON'T WANT OUR THINGS GETTING YOUR FUNK ON THEM. PEOPLE LIKE YOU GIVE A BAD NAME TO EVERYTHING THEY DO. BECOUSE YOU REALY HAVE TO PAY FOR SOMETHING. IF YOU DIDN'T LIKE US YOU DON'T HAVE TO COME BACK DIDN'T ASK YOU TO COME ANYWAY.

Clean. Old mom and pop type. Park in front of room. Lg. frig , microwave and coffee maker. Sink. 2 beds. Nice ocean view.

Clean, friendly management, wonderful view

Great location, in spite of being across the street from the beach; nothing can be built in front of it, so you can't beat the view! We were disappointed there was no pool, and we couldn't sit outside without being subject to smokers. The hotel had very friendly management, but charged a fifteen dollar cleaning fee and we never saw a maid during our short stay. Great for what it is, a old, Florida style motel, but clean and in a wonderful uncrowded section of Ormond by the Sea.

Relaxing extended stay

Great Location and Management. This is an older place that is in the process of being updated. Due to our circumstances, we had an opportunity to stay in all three room types; all were clean and well-maintained. Lisa and John were more than accommodating for our extended stay. The other guests here were obviously having a good time fishing and swimming at the beach. Steps away, there is a nice deck, owned by Ocean Crest, leading directly onto the beach. I will definitely recommend Ocean Crest for any of my family or friends when they come to visit

You pay for what you get.

Location was decent for our trip close enough to where we were going. Little oversold the beachfront.. not accurate - across the street and through the overgrowth. WORSE bed ever. Seems like nothing has been done since the 70s. Bring your own shampoo and extra towels nothing offered here. People were nice but would not stay there again unless they offer free chiropractor after each night. Really could use a good remodel.

Very nice owners, very interested in making the stay comfortable. Building a little in need of sprucing up, but clean and comfortable, and right across the street from the beautiful ocean

Upon arrival there was no one there to check us in, a phone number was listed on the office which i called and was told to go to room 7 which was to no avail. People sitting outside informed me that "he" had gonw to a hardware store and would be back in a few. After being on the road for 21/2 hours and wanting to freshen up to meet up with family we left and checked in to another hotel. Was unable to cancel my reservation and did not get a refund.

We had no vacancy and Expedia was told to relocate you days before, which they did not do. I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience, this makes me and our motel look bad. Please contact Expedia for refund, they shouldn't deny you a refund for their mistake.

It could use some repair. It was my first experience at a non-commercialized motel. There is no service desk, etc. Friendly, location was excellent, out of hustle-bustle of tourists.

We do have an office, but as the property manager I am always in and out of the office. We 100% always inform our guests that if you need anything to give a call, we always have some sort of staff (housekeeper, maintenance) on property. As new owners with an old building we strive for cleanliness and costumer service, while we play keep up with repairs and renovations. Thank you for your feedback, feel free to visit anytime.
