Lovely home on the lake

Oasis on the lake
Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwayPatrick's place is a hidden gem in Osage Beach. Get away from the big hotel and take a secluded winding road to this (renovated) fishing cabin! It's exactly as described and the pictures don't do it justice. It had everything I needed for a short weekend stay on the lake. I enjoyed cooking meals in the well appointed kitchen with unrestricted views of the lake. Morning coffee on the deck watching the many boats go out for the day, then a quick walk down the steps to take the kayak out for a few hours off the private dock. Back up the stairs and fire up the gas grill for some steaks and take in the sunset. The master bedroom was large and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was oversized and had everything I needed. I really can't say enough good things about Patrick's place, and I cannot wait to come back! You will not regret staying here!

Great bungalow for two!
Publié le 25 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe home was in a perfect location for us. Close to the restaurants, grocery stores and golf courses we like. In a nice quiet cove and close to the water. Home has been nicely remodeled and was very clean.My only complaint/suggestion would be to upgrade the kitchen items (silverware, dishes, etc.), especially the pots and pans. They are pretty much unusable.

Thanks Debbie for the kind words and suggestions. I inspected the dishes/pans after your comment as we want everything to be nice and up to the same standards we use in our own home. I did find one baking pan & a saucepan that appears maybe a previous guest tried to use on the grill, getting them too hot and staining/warping them. I replaced both with a new. The dishes are a matching place setting including ceramic plates, saucers, bowls & coffee cups. There is a nice countertop knife set. There are two sets of matching glasses, (tall & short) another set of cups, and wine glasses. The cabin is complete with cooking utensils, grilling utensils, corkscrew, can opener, measuring cups/spoons, blender, toaster & Keurig coffee maker. Thanks again for renting our cabin and I hope you can return in the future.

A lovely property in a quiet cove.
Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HomeAwayA wonderful property in a nice quiet cove. Everything was very good and exactly what we wanted. The boat slip fit our boat perfectly and it was so handy. I do not recommend using the local neighborhood ramp unless you have a very small fishing boat. The road to get there was terribly narrow and when people park in that lot you cannot turn around. Save some stress and just use the State Park ramps, the boat drive from there was easy and pleasant. Everything about the cottage was perfect.
