What I love about the hotel are its convenient location and the onsen. It’s just a 3-minute walk from Shin-Osaka Station, making it incredibly accessible. The onsen was a true blessing, providing us with much-needed relaxation every night. The check-in process could be improved, as there is only one queue, which can be slow at times. The buffet spread is quite repetitive and unexciting, with bananas and kiwi fruits sliced into tiny, unappealing pieces. What I don't like is the additional fee required for late checkout. An overnight stay
Dear san Franciscan, 7 mins walk from Shin Osaka station. Single room is very small. If it’s for an overnight and on budget, go for it. If I stay in Osaka for few days, I’ll get a bigger size room. Good customer service!

This APA Osaka property, only a stone’s throw away from the east gate exit of Shin-Osaka, is a hidden gem offering quality resort-style hotel accommodation for a modest price. It is good value for money. Our three-nights stay included a standard room packed with five-star amenities such as slippers, the “yukata” robes, high-speed Wi-Fi and toiletries, separate male and female public hot baths, and a gastronomic buffet breakfast. Be aware that basic rooms are compact by Japanese standards, with a relatively small floor space to move around and store a roomful of luggage. However, our room was clean and tidy. Guests can have their room cleaned daily upon request. Hotel staff and reception personnel were able to communicate in basic English and assist with simple enquiries. The hotel lobby and reception area looked like a five-stat hotel decked with bejewelled chandeliers and ceiling lights. Overall, this hotel meets the high standard of the APA brand (Always Pleasant Amenities) of the Apa Gurūpu. After our stay, I can confirm that APA is a reliable and good quality brand.

I’ve always trusted APA Hotels High Standards. This one does not disappoint. Comfortable & clean rooms. Japanese toilets are amazing. Good location, with many options to shop & eat around the location. Near Kyoto Station which is a plus.

I didn't like how the bed sheets felt unclean. I was sitting in bed scratching my legs so bad. There's just something about the air quality too. The mattress felt really hard. Table looks old with water stain. BUT the staff makes a big difference. They are very helpful and polite. They deserve a raise otherwise I would have given this a 3 stars rating

I’d give this a poor rating due primarily for the lack of air conditioning and false advertising about it. Yes, it does have ‘centrally controlled’ air conditioning for the entire hotel but not individual rooms. Cannot open windows due to tremendous road noise and airplane traffic. Rooms are so small that one literally must climb over the other person to get in bed. Advantage is close to train station.
