This property was a good fit for our family as we had six people staying in the apartment. It was close to transit station, and it was convenient to food options. However, we had issues with storage as there were no place to store clothing and we had to live out of our luggage which was somewhat inconvenient. The kids really enjoyed the bunk bed, and we were ok sleeping on the tatami bed.

Unexpectedly Bad

I never stayed in a hotel which had to prepare the bed yourself. This was really the first for me. Also, the hygiene was awful. When I returned to hotel after lunch, I saw the housekeeper put a dirty vacuum machine on top of clean bath towel. I instantly thought those in my room were from the same pile. Shame on them to have this kind of service.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Family of five, we had a two bedroom connecting room. It’s was plenty of space for us. So many great dining options locally, the hotel was immaculate, and immediately felt like home! I cannot praise the staff highly enough! Utami was amazing! Local grocery store open 25 hours and had so many options! We were able to walk to Dotonbori with a 4 & 6 year old. It isn’t as close as some other hotels, but we really loved the cultural feel of this hotel and the local restaurants. Could have easily stayed a lot longer! Highly recommend

Staff were nice and provided food recommendations near by. Property was located in a quiet area, except that it is next to a fire department, so from time to time you'll hear the alarm from the trucks, but it's only for a short period of time. Located near the Shinsaibashi Station (on the Midosuji Line), once off the train, it is a decent walk within the underground shopping (Crystal) malls; google maps has 9 mins (500m), but I typically can get to the hotel within 9 mins. If you have a lot of suitcases, I recommend using the elevator or escalators for Smile Hotel/White Dome Plaza, I believe it's exit 1-A. Train station is one stop away from Namba station, so it was convenient for Dotonbori area for shopping. Property has washer and dryer machines, 4 sets in total. Overall nice place to stay and much more roomy than my first hotel during my trip as property is more of an apartment style than a hotel. Would recommend.
