The location is good. There is supermarket and McDonald’s around the hotel area. The breakfast spread is 3/5. You can find better breakfast elsewhere with more selection. There is more western selection. The staff is not the friendliness right here. You don’t feel welcome

hotel is gorgeous and very well appointed with amenities and facilities. room a reasonable size with a large bed, HUGE bathroom for Japanese hotel standards and also a balcony. Quiet a lot of street noise can be heard.

There are a few decent coffee shops in the neighborhood. In terms of transportation, there are few escalators or elevators in close proximity to the premise, so plan ahead if you’ll be having heavy luggages.

Nice sized rooms with comfortable beds and bedding. Also had a balcony. Front desk staff was indifferent but cleaning staff was excellent. Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Decent location, subway 5 mins away, Dontonbori was 15 mins walk. Felt safe in the neighbourhood with many convenience stores and eateries in the area.

Great value hotel of high quality in Osaka
Miyako city hotel was the best value stay of our two and a half week trip to Osaka. The price/quality ratio was really good. The service from the staff was exceptional and they went out of their way to help us with luggage transfer and facilitated an early check in. The room was a good size for Japan and the balcony was a bonus. Around 15-20 minutes walk to the shinaibashi area and 10 minutes walk to various metro stations. Lots of dining options nearby too. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Osaka.

Overall, the property was excellent. The rooms were clean and modern. The only problem I had with the room is the lack of a proper closet and storage space. If you have any decent amount of close you have to take out from the luggage, it can be frustrating.
