Dreamy location!
Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed for three nights for an anniversary getaway and couldn’t be happier. The cabin was clean and cozy and the view was unbeatable. We spent a lot of time in the cabin reading and it was perfectly comfortable for the two of us. We loved the solitude of the off-season but are hoping to come back sometime in the summer—and to bring the kids, who would absolutely love this deck and this beach.
This isn’t a super high-end accommodation, so expect some quirks (small shower, slow-draining sink, that sort of thing). These are all things I expect of a beach house, though, and didn’t detract from our stay at all.
One word of warning: if you’re hoping to sleep in, don’t think you can just “sneak a peek” at the sunrise and go back to sleep. This is the sort of beauty that demands you wake up and admire it!

Gets better every year

Birthday getaway!

Even though the weather was cool, windy and at times, rainy, we enjoyed every minute. I’ve never spent time on Lake Huron, always on Lake Michigan, I was so impressed! The area is is fabulous and has a lot to offer.

Great place to relax and unwind

Second year - better than the first!
