Wally and Donna were very hospitable! We loved this cottage and its location to everything we wanted to do. The neighborhood was tranquil and beautiful. Such a great place!

My partner and I had a lovely, relaxing time! Perfect size for the two of us with all the necessary amenities. Great fall walks and a beautiful trail with waterfall views nearby. Shops in town had everything we needed as well. Host is very attentive. Highly recommend!

Be sure to know what you want before staying. If you like quiet and solitude and do not plan to venture out, it might be for you. We were a bit underwhelmed and misunderstood the descriptions of the property perhaps. There was a lake view, but hampered by another house. Also there are no real grocers, stores, or activities within 20-30 minutes of driving. If you are there simply for the water or to be in solitude and rest then go for it; but make sure you bring ALL your own supplies. There are a few items at the cottage, but not much to be honest. It is not "well-stocked' You pick up the keys from the owners, there is no lock box and the check-in/out times are not what were posted. It was a bit stressful to have to determine when you would be within 1hour of the facility as you will lose cell or wifi upon driving in. The cottage is a converted Boy Scout cabin, so essentially a large studio with a small shower. Just be like a Boy Scout and be prepared. (it is very much overpriced for what you receive, I would suggest a hotel)

Perfect cottage as our homebase to explore the Berkshires while our daughter was at soccer camp nearby. Well-equipped kitchen for cooking our meals. Nice, quiet neighborhood. No water access but lovely water view from the picnic table and the marina is just a few minutes away for kayak rentals. We hiked, kayaked, visited museums, saw a concert at Tanglewood, and shopped in Great Barrington and Stockbridge. People in the Berkshires are extraordinarily friendly!

What an adorable little cottage and sooo clean! Owner met us upon arrival to show around. Perfect for my small family and just a short walk to the water. We kayaked, swam and hiked and at night, fell into the most cloud like beds -- just what we needed! Everything we were hoping for in our last minute getaway. Hope to visit again in the future!
