The Space:
The apartment is approximately 1,100 square feet, encompassing the ground floor of a house originally built in the 1880’s and subsequently converted into separate apartments. It is super bright, sunny and airy with 10-foot ceilings and huge, soaring windows.
This space is made up of a large open living room and kitchen area, a full bathroom, a separate laundry room/closet, a large bedroom opening onto a private deck, and a front entry space with additional storage. The living room has a pull-out couch which opens to a queen bed if extra guests are staying. Original hardwood floors and architectural details are throughout most of the apartment and ceramic tile in the bathroom and entry.

This is an entirely self-contained apartment – you have a private entrance and porch located at the side of the house and a private deck off the bedroom just for you. The front entryway of the apartment is large enough to store bicycles inside.
Getting Around:
1 Block away is access to the entire network of Ottawa/Gatineau bike and recreation trails, as well as bus stops for both the Ottawa and Gatineau transit systems. At the Museum, you can board the water taxi (seasonal service) to cross the river to Ottawa or continue and try your luck at the Casino. VeloGo bike shares located nearby. Uber and taxis are always available. There are public transportation options available for the Ottawa airport and train station.
