Not What I Expected
Posted Jun. 16, 2024 on HotelsI loved how the room was set up with a kitchen, giving us the option to make our own food; plus the fact that if there was something we needed, we could simply ask. We only stayed the one night, but if we are in Ottawa again, I wouldn't hesitate to book here. The room was larger than what I usually see plus a huge bathroom; you could dance in there, it's so big. The bed was comfortable; I slept like a content baby. I also loved that there were no mirrors in the bedroom area. Mirrors in the bedroom never made me feel comfortable, so thank you for that. Check in was a breeze, thank you so much. I was impressed there was a gym [and a pool], but again, we arrived late and left early so we didn't get a chance to take advantage of these wonderful options. And to top it all off, I had a tasty breakfast of pancakes and sausages; there were so many options that I had a difficult time choosing; I am very grateful there was hot food. Thank you all. :)

I did enjoy our stay but a random $20.00 charge was added to my card upon leaving. Not sure if this is parking but this was not mentioned at all at check in.

Staff are friendly and property is well kept..Great quiet location with good parking.
"Free" breakfast is as bad as airline food and that's bad.
Even the coffee is terrible.
