The hike up the hill is long but not difficult. Jst be ready for it we had our own wagon to help.
They had sand toys for the kids which was also awesome.
The coffee was the main complaint the packets were not enough for a pot. But that is minor and didnt ruin the stay.

Thank you for your review...most bookings have a full container of coffee. Ill make sure our supply of coffees are what you wanted.
Again thank you. Our wagon is always available too in the closet for trips up and down to the beach.

Really bad experience
Publié le 7 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe owner of the place is unprofessional and not responsible. She didn't send me the code to open the house and she didn't have anyone to receive me. I sent her a message through the website and waited more than half an hour and nothing. When I finally found her phone number, it didn't work and was deactivated. I was very tired from the trip and didn't want to wait any longer. The good thing was that there was a resort right there and I was able to rent another small emergency room.

Response....The reservation was not correctly submitted by employee of VRBO.
THE CLIENT, I am very sorry for his experience.The truth is... his reservation was not
done correctly by VRBO.
A full refund by VRBO was givento the client/guest. It was issued quickly after I was contacted by my caretaker and a conversation with this client/guest was personally contacted by myself.
The rental management at my condos property on purpose sabotoshed this reservation and had knowledge of my entry keys and codes at all times.!!!
This unprofessional conduct has not been myself or my caretaker.. but by management for
the ladt 4 months. I placed my reservations in their care while I returned my son ashes to his home state and spent this time home with family and friends.
This has happened to many clients of mine on,... VRBO ... THI
S LAST 4 MONTHS.
LEGAL ACTION IS BEING FILED this....MONTH.
THIS IS THE TRUTH... THIS CLIENT WAS NOTIFIED BY MYSELF truthfully.
Please note.... AT THAT TIME this client/guest BELIEVED IT TO BE TRUE. His reservation again was not to be booked at my condo. Due to my loss if family.
For your information here too is this.
OTHER CLIENTS WHO WERE LIED TO.
Vrbo and myself up till June 4, 2024 had a petfect record and will again.
I love being a host and please see my 6 years of reviews...
This too shall pass. God willing.

Great stay for family (kids 9, 11)

The room was great for our needs for a few days - we used the fridge and the microwave and took advantage of the available plates, silverware, cups and some of the beach toys for gathering cool rocks. The property is really fun - we took advantage of the pool every day (love that the hot tub is adults only!), played on the beach and in the tidepools, played pingpong, and walked the super short distance to the little "town" of Otter Rock and the stairs to Beverly Beach. Great, easy stay.

Great stay at OtterCrest - Oregon coast
Publié le 22 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great stay at Ellen's 'eagles nest' at OtterCrest. The view from the appartment is stunning and the park is beautiful. The OtterCrest location is perfect for trips along the Oregon coast.
Highly recommend!

The room was clean, fully stocked with necessities and the location was wonderful. the kids swam, played in the activity center and we talked along the tide pools below the property. on top of all of this, Ellen was a fabulous host! Thank you, we will be back!

You’ll get your steps in…but worth it!
Publié le 26 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayEllen (host) was so kind! Greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. A lot of uphill walking and stairs to get to the room, but it was comfy and clean (albeit a little dated & some minor repairs needed). Kitchenette is minimal, but we didn’t need to cook. Beautiful view from the balcony! Saw whales & seals, just where we were told they would be!
The Inn grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the quaint Spyglass restaurant has yummy food! Their GF veggie pizza was actually quite impressive, as was my whiskey stone sour drink.
So many beautiful sights within a short walk or drive! It was a quick getaway for us, but just what we needed. Definitely would consider going back!

Can’t get any more beautiful

The view is spectacular and the area is close to Newport where you can visit the seals and the lighthouse and beautiful grounds. It’s like living in the forest here, we loved it.
