It was very clean, cozy and actually pretty spacious everything as far as cleaning supplies dishes utensils were there for me to use. If I ever come back to Ottumwa I definitely will stay there again, it’s such a beautiful house.

Publié le 29 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayMy wife, son and I were visiting our family for the holidays. The Red Fern was just what we needed. Plenty of room to spread out. It's an older building so there are some quirks about the layout but nothing too bad. It is on a main drag but we didn't hear much traffic in the bedroom. I occasionally heard someone in the other half of the duplex but nothing obnoxious. It was way too cold to be on the deck so no evaluation there. Nice kitchen and bathroom. Overall, everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Blue Fern & Red Fern Hotels were great!

Was a great meeting place to get together for meals and a time to catch up with family from 5 different states. Property owners were very helpful with anything that came up. Will definitely be using their rental in the future!
