Improvements Needed

The house is in a great area and convenient to many attractions. The owner provided extra trash bags, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, dishwashing liquid.
We washed our own dishes, because the dishwasher has an odor.
The washer/dryer/bathroom area on the lower level has an odor.
We were inundated with flies on Thursday when we arrived. They were in the bedrooms and
throughout the main level. We killed quite a few Thursday night and Friday morning.
We contacted the owner of the house late Thursday night, detailing the problem and requesting that they call us on Friday to discuss
the issue and how they were going to address the problem. The owner never called us and only messaged us through VRBO. The owner told us they use an exterminator for the house.
They provided us a bug zapper.
We arrived back at the house late on Friday and kept the bug zapper plugged in the rest of the
weekend. We did not receive a call, nor did the owners stop by to inspect the problem, nor
did they offer for the exterminator to come to the house. The fly problem was better on Friday night. When we returned to the house late
Saturday, we continued to battle flies throughout the night.
There was only one dish towel for the kitchen.
There was glitter all over the nightstand in the upper bedroom as well as the baseboards and some of the floor of the upper bathroom.

I wish there was better communication. We apologize for the inconvenience but it’s crucial for the guest to explain their situation not mention of one thing and lay out more stuff when leaving a review. There was no communication regarding, dishwasher, odor or dishes. It’s absolutely unfair. We never disturb our guests for the respect of their privacy. The communication is all done via VRBO messages. There was no communication of you expecting our phone call either. We did stop by to assess the situation but you were not home. That’s when we dropped off our big zapper. Not sure what else to say.

Publié le 13 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family spent the weekend here to celebrate graduation from KU. It was a great location, 30 minute drive to campus. The house has beautiful open common spaces. Don’t miss the separate basement living area accessible from the garage. It’s a nice lower level space with a full bath and the laundry area.
The whole place was exceptionally clean. Well stocked pantry items, if you’re cooking in. Backyard is gorgeous and flat — room to run :). There are lots of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, churches, walking paths nearby.
Definitely would stay again if we are in the area with a group. We had 7-8 adult size family members together over the weekend with room to spare and plenty of bathrooms.

2nd Annual KC Golf Trip
Publié le 11 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is the second year we have stayed at the property. The house is always clean, nice furniture, nice appliances and a coffee maker. Bedding and towels smelled fresh and clean. Owners were very easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful CLEAN home near everything
Publié le 28 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was perfect and so homey. It was spotless and had more than enough room for everyone. The basement family area was perfect for watching tv. Beds were comfortable and had 3 bathrooms which was perfect for everyone to get ready for the wedding.
Will stay here again.
