Hotel Lina Guest House à Oxford
Publié le 29 mars 2011 sur ExpediaBon hôtel avec un petit déjeuner anglais typique pour ceux qui voudrait découvrir le petit déjeuner des anglais. Vous trouverez aux alentours restaurants supermarché ....et hotel pas loin du centre et très bien désservi par les bus, arrêt en face de l'hotel

Transport to my conference venue was easy. The room was clean and well maintained. There were several places to each and grocery stores within walking distance. (Joe's was especially good.) It was perfect for what we needed.

Great value for money compared to other places in Oxford. Small but comfortable. Good amenities. Very clean. Will stay again in the future.

The property is clean and cozy. Excellentt staff service . I manage to have a good sleep but really suggest that they needed to extra cushion as the spring of the bed is feeling on your back. But overall all good as its easy access to city center. Highly recommended this property.

One night stay in single room
Publié le 8 nov. 2021 sur HotelsI booked a single room for one night with shared bathroom while visiting family in Oxford.
The guest house is in a perfect location in Summertown, on a direct bus route from city centre with lots of cafes restaurants and shops close by. The 500 park and ride bus goes directly from the railway station to bus stop right opposite the guest house.
The attic room was small but spotlessly clean with fresh bedding and towels. The bathroom was modern and also spotless. As the room was in attic it had a velux window in the roof. It didn't close properly meaning if it had rained the rain would have fallen directly on the bed.
The guest house is on a very busy main road and the traffic noise was loud even during the night as I couldn't close the window. Also the walls were very thin and i could hear the conversation of the people staying in the room next door.
I'd advise guests to remember to take their room key with them when they use the bathroom as i was woken at 6am by a fellow guest who had locked themselves out and needed help!
Breakfast was available and there was a bright clean dining room although i didnt have the breakfast.
Overall if the window and noise issues were fixed it would have been a great stay its a lovely little guest house in a really convenient location for a visit to Oxford.
