No as expected
Publié le 31 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayBy the pictures it looks like the property has a lake in the back of the house. The bathroom is so tiny. This is a very rough cabin, so if you are able to rough it out it is fine. Next door there is a trailer in the front yard and it looks like a trailer park... We did have a good time but it was not what we expected as a cabin.

It’s unfortunate that you did not read the description of our property and only looked at the pictures as we are careful to explain very clearly that the shared community beach is a five minute walk away through the neighborhood. We definitely do not want to mislead any of our guests But of course we want to include a picture of our beautiful neighborhood beach!
And yes, the people next-door do have a camper in their yard sometimes but they are otherwise good neighbors, and lovely people. And we do have a privacy fence up between the two properties.
I’m sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. Hopefully, in the future, you will take care to read the details of the property descriptions, so as not to negatively affect others ratings.

Dells weekend
Publié le 15 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe Goose Lake escape cabin is super cute. Very clean and quiet. Check-in was easy. I had a question, contacted the property owner and she was very quick and courteous with her response. I knew when we booked that we were a little ways out of Wisconsin Dells, and the drive wasn't terrible, but I will say that was the only downside to the cabin. We weren't able to enjoy a fire, due to the weather, but we did roast some marshmallows over the charcoal grill for s'mores just before a torrential downpour! It was a nice weekend getaway and we're thankful for the opportunity to have stayed at the Goose Lake escape!

Publié le 7 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWanted somewhere not too far away but far enough to have some piece and quite. This was the right place. We had a cookout and visited the Dells (20) minutes away. This spot is IDEAL for a family that wants to spend a couple days in the Dells without having to eat out and stay in a hotel. Great spot and affordable . We enjoyed our time there. Owners were very nice and helpful. Would recommend it’s not big but it’s nice and can sleep 6 with no problems

Great cabin to sleep in

This is the spot. if you're looking for a place to hang out and have a great time with your family. This is probably not the best spot. Cabin is really small and the walls aren't exactly sturdy so you definitely will have a liability if you have kids trying to have a fun time in the house.

The backyard is a beautiful and quiet space.
I would definitely consider coming back if I need a Vrbo in the area in the future.

Summer Weekend Getaway
Publié le 4 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a fantastic family weekend at this cabin. Plenty of nature, places to walk the dogs, friendly neighborhood, 20 min drive to the Dells. The cabin is cozy with a large backyard and lots of character with the rustic decorations and themes. We highly recommend High Rock cafe in the Dells and a Wild Thing jet boat tour. We also hit the outlet mall for some great buys. Plenty to do for everybody!

Publié le 16 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayGreat stay overall. The floors were pretty dirty when we got there, but everything else was flawless. Owner does a nice job checking in if we needed anything at all. Great stay and would stay here again!
