Overnight in oxford
Publié le 13 déc. 2021 sur HotelsRoom was just fine, basic, but just what we wanted for overnight. Its a short walk into the city centre, so great location. Parking might have been tricky, but we used Just Park for 2 full days at a hotel just down the road and it cost £12. Breakfast was not available, but plenty of great places in Oxford, so no problem there.

No communication, room late, no breakfast which said was included. Room was fine but bits broken off bed, lights didnt work and no friendly welcome when arrived. Cheap rooms but will not be staying again

There was no need to be Anonymous as we know who you are.
Your comments are most unfair and we fully disagreed
When you arrived I accept the room was not ready due to the former guest left late due to personal circumstances.
Within 20 minutes we offered you the room an upgraded to an en-suite one.
While you were waiting we offered you cold drink and you sat comfortably in the conservatory and made you welcome and how can you say no friendly welcome.
with regards communication we did make contact with you and it failed and we shown that to you when you arrived and can you said no communication when we have records of it if required.
The room you were given is an en-suite room 7 and anybody can view it on the website and is not what you described.
About breakfast you booked room only please check your reservation and the rate you paid

Fine if you sacrifice cleanliness for location

Parking info wasn't great, most of the nearby area is permit holders only, would have used park and ride if we'd have known. Cleanliness very poor. General upkeep was also very poor, outdated decor, en-suite was in desperate need for some maintenance. Check-in poor, we were called earlier in the day to confirm the time of our arrival but still had to wait around for an hour once we arrived.
