Team Visit
Publié le 14 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayI coach a collegiate volleyball team and we stayed here for a local tournament. The location is top notch and the house itself fit us all very well. I would recommend this as a place to stay for any larger groups!

New Years
Publié le 2 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayOur family- including 6 from UK stayed here for 5 nights over New Years. Games, talking and way too much eating! This place was perfect for a large family and has a great beach and a park with volleyball and basketball court. I highly recommend it!

Perfect for Family Gathering

Incredible huge park 3 blocks away, beach across from the front porch, unobstructed sunset every night, great game and dinner table for the 10 adults in our family and the huge open Kitchen/dining/living room space all looking out across the beach and ocean was a treat. kitche/eating/living room space

Wonderful for extended family stay

The views and beach access were amazing and there were plenty of toys/balls for the kids (not really kids) to play with. We were surprised to find that the main gathering area was big enough and with plenty of seating for us all to hang out together without feeling cramped at all. The layout of the house was perfect for finding a quiet room for the sleeping baby while the talking and laughter were going on. The kitchen had everything we needed and the house was very clean. We will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to gather as a large family or friend group.

Beach family getaway

Dated, needs repair, and somewhat misrepresented.
Publié le 28 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayUpon arriving, we were shocked at how faded the home was and how narrow it was based on the pictures listed. The listing makes it look grand. The front door was stuck, and the other exterior door by the front door could hardly be opened. I told the handyman, but nothing happened.
The home is dated throughout. There are 24 paragraphs of rules emailed right before your reservation starts. The BBQ burned our steak and then stopped working altogether. The main level is upstairs and it is the only kitchen. We were provided a small amount of tissue, paper towel and dish pods and had to buy our own. One rule is you have to supply your own beach towel. None provided and you're not allowed to take the bath towels to the beach. The downstairs has a sink and refrigerator only. The home is adjacent to a beach park, it's not ocean front, but you still have a great view of the ocean. The windows however were all covered in salt and were not washed before our stay. I expected a little more for over a grand a night..

Of note, this is our first non-5 star review in over a year.
As stated in the description of our property, the house is 4000 ft.². It further states that “There is one full kitchen with granite counter tops upstairs and each unit downstairs has a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker also with granite countertops.”
We provide bath towels, hand towels, dish towels, and a few beach towels as stated in our welcome email. We do not like them taken out of the house as they may get lost or damaged.
Our furniture and artwork is very nice as can be seen in our photos.
As is common in most vacation rentals, starter amounts of paper goods and cleaning supplies are provided. Our welcome email states that “Starter amounts of paper goods, soaps, and trash bags have been provided to you. Please purchase additional supplies as you require them.”
The windows were cleaned three weeks prior to the arrival of these guests. Between the sand and the wind it is very hard to keep the windows clean, especially this time of year.
Finally, I did not know that there was a problem with the barbecue and I was not informed by these guests. As soon as I found out, the barbecue was repaired the same day.

Great Location - Right Size

Great Time At The Beach!
Publié le 12 août 2024 sur HomeAwayVery interesting house with a lot of character! Overall totally worked out and met our larger group’s needs. Kinda sucked that only one of three microwaves was working when we were there but I get it - it was their busy season. Three great fridges. Pretty much only the second floor kitchen is useable for cooking which means you’ll be using that main staircase all day long. Perfect beach access and beach. Awesome living room gathering area. They provided many helpful extras like patio chairs, beach chairs, and beach toys. Communication with host was not at all my style but it worked out in the end. Thanks for a great time!

A great week
