I had booked a room threw Expedia for the Canalta in Oyen Alberta, the price was $161.00 a night before taxes, $180 after taxes. When checking in to the location, the Canalta charges me $178 before tax, 200 after tax. Then argues that expedia messed up the charges, even after I show them the itinerary. So I contacted Expedia, they also say the price is correct even after I show them the itinerary. As a gold member I am super disappointed that Expedia and canalta can change the rates as the please. A deal is a deal. And they both scammed me out of my deal. It’s not a lot of money but if they did this to all of their customers, we are talking thousands of dollars. Guess that’s how the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor.
