Cozy little get away!
Publié le 30 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family absolutely loved this house. On our second day there, the heat would not work. The owners responded quickly and had someone out to fix it the same day! The kitchen is well stocked for any kind of cooking needs you may have. There is a quirky store called the Wacky Warehouse just down the street. Every one of us found a treasure or two. There is even a radio station located inside the store. This store is a must visit, everyone was so friendly! Unfortunately, the torrential rain kept us from digging any clams, but we still had so much fun. I highly recommend this home.

Perfect place for a family getaway for ages 10 to 80

We celebrated a family birthday with fun and sun at the beach and plenty of room to cook and relax with the family. Responsive host, plus easy check in and out. Would definitely come back. Everyone gave the place rave reviews

Great for a big family

Only nitpick is that the hot tub and grill weren’t fully clean when we arrived; apparently the people before us didn’t follow the instructions about washing sand off before getting in the hot tub, and no one had cleaned the grill for awhile, so we left that in better shape than we found it even after using it for a big family meal. But this is a great space for a group. Description is accurate and the host was very good about responding to questions. Thank you, Lorrie!

Wonderful place to stay!

The location works great for surrounding activities. Hated to leave but hope to be back again someday! Thank you Lorrie!

Everything you can want.
Publié le 24 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe stayed eight nights and didn't want to leave. Our 3 year old grandson got teary eyed. Lots and lots to do around there, though the days on the beach were our favorites. We forgot a couple important items and that made our grandkids sad, but that was the only mar to a perfect family vacation.

Nice location, great beds and big hot tub
Publié le 2 févr. 2023 sur HomeAwayOverall, this property is as advertised. Beautiful views, close to the beach, comfy beds and a big hot tub. Kitchen is well stocked with hardware, short on paper towels and garbage bags. Although there is a heat pump mini split it the dining area, the rest of the house was chilly. It was 30 degrees out so we made heavy use of the space heaters and gas fireplaces. The biggest issue I had was with the lack of cleanliness. As a nurse, who brought my 80 year old mother for her birthday, it was concerning. Counters were dirty, as was the dining table. Dust bunnies abound, debris on the floors and stairs, dirty duvet covers & bath mats. Luckily there was cleaning supplies and two washer & dryers. I reached out to the owner, who was responsive but only offered $100 off my next visit. For the cleaning fees I paid for and the subsequent amount of cleaning we had to do, there won’t be a next visit.

Thank you for your comments, Jennifer. We are so sorry and completely understand your disappointment with the cleanliness. We too were disappointed and immediately let go the house cleaners we had just hired. As you can see from previous reviews this is not what you usually get at this house. Cleanliness, for health reasons, and just simple enjoyment, is extremely important to us.

Great place for a group!

The house was roomy, the downstairs bedroom with a fireplace was so comfortable, the hot tub was large and fantastic, and best of all its a short easy walk to the beach! Lori communicated right away when I had a question about the hot tub. I would 100% recommend this house.
