Cute Woodsy Cabin
Publié le 16 août 2024 sur HomeAwayNice cabin in the woods. Good for our little kids, nice yard for them to run around in and they loved throwing rocks into the creek out back. Short drive to town for essentials.

Quiet and clean cabin, perfect for family hiking.
Publié le 12 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe chose this place given it's proximity to Mt Rainier and the Paradise entrance. The house was perfectly located and the town of Packwood has great places to grab groceries and a meal out.
The house is clean and well suited for our family. The kids loved the entertainment room!
Perfect base to get to Mt Rainier, easy 20min drive and we went early (6am) to beat the reservations and crowds.
We would absolutely stay here again and have no problems recommending the hosts or the house. Thanks again!

Mt Rainer weekend trip
Publié le 23 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed in this little gem for the weekend, it was great!!! The place was as described and we spent time playing pool, sitting by the river, BBQ and just enjoying our weekend!

Comfortable, cozy spot in Packwood.

The kids loved the pool table and I loved the view of the river. Peaceful, quiet neighborhood. We slept well. Thank you for a good night!

Great spot for white pass skiing/riding!
Publié le 17 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was fantastic. I would definitely stay again. The creek is right behind the house and it's lovely. There are some weird issues with the house.
There are NO mixing bowls. None. For us this was an inconvenience since we plan to cook every meal and had to mix in pots, clean them, and then cook.
Not all of the electrical outlets worked. A lot are ok switches that we had to find. We never found the one that turned the living room lamp on. The one for the hot tub is inside, in the dining room on the back wall. Seems unnecessarily confusing.
My biggest issue was that we paid for a house with a hot tub and the hot tub was not hot when we arrived. I was pretty upset by this, it seems logical that if you advertise a hot tub, you make it available to the renters. It was my birthday trip and we lost one of our two nights in the hot tub. I would make sure to contact the host and specifically request the hot tub be heated.

First ski trip with the family
