Easter in Padstow
Publié le 2 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is in a perfect location with stunning estuary views and within a short walk of Padstow’s restaurants and activities. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Nothing bad to say about it. Highly recommend

Fabulous location but...

We found the kitchen floor daunting to stand on near the dishwasher. Plaster dropped off the front porch through the week.The double bed had seen better days and the duvet should have been thrown away. Certain windows were difficult to close and the lawn needed mowing. Having stayed in Padstow in the past we expected a better standard but realise the price of the rental reflected the standard of accomodation . We still had a very enjoyable holiday

We have had guests staying at the property since April of this year and this is the first occasion that we have received such comments. In light of this, we visited Waterside last week and saw that a leak from the dishwasher had caused the flooring to weaken. We brought in a builder immediately who replaced the floor and, in addition, we purchased a new dishwasher. We also purchased a new duvet for the double bed. We have not received any other comments regarding the bed, windows etc either before or since this guest stayed at the property. A large percentage of our guests have stayed with us repeatedly over a number of years.

A much awaited break away that did not disappoint.
Publié le 10 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe location of Waterside was excellent. As described, it really was a short walk to Padstow harbour and within easy reach of the beautiful beach. The property itself was a little 'tired' in some aspects but by no means did it affect the enjoyment of our holiday. . It was well equipped. The kitchen was bright and airy and the adjoining dining area looked over the Camel Estuary, which was brilliant. The property had a great garden, which was very useful as we had our dog with us. Having a driveway for parking was also a big bonus.
A great stay! We would definitely go back.

Padstow Hideaway
Publié le 24 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayEven though dated and in need of some TLC ( decking needs re doing), has several plus's. Views lovely, quite area with lots of parking, lots of space within accommodation, garden fantastic for dogs and main plus proximity to Padstow Harbour 5 minute walk.

Could be so good…
Publié le 20 août 2022 sur HomeAwayGood communication with the owner, great location, but the property is in desperate need of some investment and TLC. I can’t even describe it as tired, it’s past that. In places tiles are coming off walls, floorboards appear to be rotten and sinking, and the veranda decking is rotten. Such a shame as this could be fantastic, but it isn’t.
