Lovely family holiday
Publié le 4 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were a 3 generational group ( 7 adults, 3 toddlers and one baby) and the accomodation suited our needs very well.
Sintra is a generously sized house with a large, safe garden that was perfect for the kids to play in and for general relaxation although there were only 4 hard-surface loungers provided and we had to supplement them with our own beach chairs. Some lightweight, comfortable sun loungers would have been welcome.
Two charcoal burning BBQs are provided, the grills of both needed a good scrub before being ready for use and you'll need to provide the charcoal.
We found we were using the dishwasher twice a day and soon ran through the few tablets provided. Take some with you is our advice - ditto toilet paper and large black plastic bin liners for the recycling and general waste.
The entrance to the drive leading from the road is a little daunting at first, being quite narrow and lined on both sides with stone walls, but you soon get used to it - just treat it with caution.
Overall it is a lovely home away from home in a beautiful location and we all enjoyed it immensely.

Our only issue is that we found the foam mattresses very uncomfortable to sleep on, but that might say more about us than the property!

Great Family House
Publié le 16 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was spacious and well equipped. The bedrooms and balconies had gorgeous views. The living areas were perfect for a big family group. We were lucky with the weather and had a carefree beach holiday. We could have done with better more relevant instructions for tv/recycling etc but all in all it was a wonderful holiday.

Superb house in a great setting

The house was brilliant in terms of layout and space for us as a large family. We had 9 adults and a 7 week old baby so spent most evenings there. It has everything you need and more. It's located 1.5 miles from Padstow and the roads are more accessible than when you get over by Treyarnon area, where we usually stay. The beach is a 10 mins walk down the hill. Walk it rather than drive as the car park is a rip off and there are so many reviews online of people getign tickets who have paid. We will def use this house again.

Fantastic stay
Publié le 9 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe were two families of 5 and the house was perfect for us, loads of space and the utility room was perfect for drying all the wetsuits etc.
location was perfect for us, with so many local beaches all within short drives.
Only issue we had was the tv not working but the owner sorted this by arranging for an engineer to come and fix it during our stay, but a few days without it wasn’t a hardship when there was so much else to do.
Would definitely recommend and would come back again in the future.

Everything you could ever want in a holiday let.

Sintra had everything we could ever want, central for exploring the Padstow area and its mant spectacular bays, a clean, well stocked kitchen for evening meals and great bedrooms to call out own for the week. You could not be disappointed to have this lovely house as your holiday let, we highly recommend it.

Beautiful House

I celebrated my 60th there with friends and family and we all had a wonderful week.
Acces was very straightforward and the hosts very easy to communicate with.

It is beautiful, the house is in a good location. As it’s a family house it would be nice for a child’s area in the garden. That is my only fault. I would highly recommended it. Thank you
