Awesome Place

The house was good.
This is what kept it from being great….
(Only giving you our cons…we had plenty of pros too)
* walkable, yes BUT ADULTS only single file next to a VERY busy street for about a block, then you can cut through a parking lot and be on LEWIS ST.
* I pulled out a dirty dish. A serving bowl (for chips). For me, that was it, I scrubbed what we used and used what we had with us.
*mildew smell coming from washer… we aired it out with windows open and it went away…. until we used the washer and then it reactivated. Lol
* Definitely hear all the busy road traffic next to /behind the house.
* We couldn't figure out how to turn on the hot tub but there was a wasp nest being built in the surrounding wood so we didn’t try that hard.
* there is a gravel road / walking trail that runs next to to open side of backyard so hot tubbing it might have also been way too embarassing for us.
None of this was awful and the price for the rental was very reasonable given the fantastic location to town and the hot springs.
We would stay again.

We Always Come Back!

This property has everything, a great location, and is very comfortable for a family of four and a dog. The thoughtful touches throughout these rentals are always appreciated. Thanks a bunch, we will be back!

Were we scammed?
Publié le 29 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe question the host's motives. Our small family has only one chance a year to spend vacation, and we always choose a VRBO home with hot tub. This property was perfect, until the owner informed us on our first day the hot tub was broken. She said the parts were on the way. However, the tub was never fixed during out stay. To my great disappointment, the owner has not responded to my requests for a partial refund, which would only be fair since we did not get what we were promised. I hope this does not happen to others who rent this home - beware. VRBO does not have a way of making a claim after an incident like this unless done during the stay. But we never knew if it would be fixed before we left. Sounds like a scam?

Second time!

Hot tub was perfect, you can walk to town, everything is supplied for cooking, even an outdoor grill. We brought our portable volleyball net which was great in the backyard! Beds are super comfortable and the uniqueness of the property is 10/10!
