Perfect getaway
The house is beautifully decorated and very spacious. The deck was our favorite place and we spent many hours there, taking in the beautiful view and being amazed by the quietness. If you want to get away from the noise and close quarters of in-town living, this is a perfect place to go.

This was our second time staying at this VRBO (Spring of 2023 and August 2024). This a great house with wonderful views and plenty of space to be together but not too close. It is a well thought out rental. We will be back 😊 The welcome gift is always a bonus!

This home is so well decorated and supplied. Very comfortable. Lots of cozy blanket's. Gas fireplace and a bonus of games in the garage. Along with a sofa and TV! View is exceptional! Saw Turkey. Deer and Elk.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying in this very nicely done home on a lovely property. Enjoyed the large back porch, the open floor plan and the extremely well done decor. Even got to watch 5 baby birds leave the nest ….. and repeatedly return …… right on the back porch. The prairie dogs were also fun to watch. We loved our stay.

Beautiful Home with Wildlife a Plenty!
Wonderful home with wildlife views from the back porch multiple times per day. If you are looking for peace and quiet while still being close enough to town amenities…stay here! Great for couples and families without question! Large home but layout makes it feel cozy BUT the back of home windows make for the best view.

Do I Gate-keep or 10/10 Recommend?
This cabin was perfect for everything we needed and more for our fam of 5. The property manager was responsive and informative even with a simple, kind reminder to drink plenty of water. My ONLY hesitation in “letting the cat out of the bag” about how wonderful it is, is fear we want to come again it’s all booked!

We had an AMAZING time at this house! It was beyond my expectations. Pagosa Springs was such a cute city and the snowboarding / skiing for the girls made our week. The best part of the house was the property, fully stocked house and so thoughtfully prepared. I highly recommend staying here!! We will be back :)

Beyond expectations!
It's such a fantastic property, and I can’t speak highly enough of it. My wife and I, along with a family of 5, fit perfectly. The house is lovely and secluded, with only a couple of other properties in eyeshot, and we never heard a peep other than nature. If you are looking for something out of town but close enough to make a quick supply run, this is perfect. I only wish we’d got all our groceries first so we never had to leave. I loved that there were multiple ways to take in all the beautiful scenery; we liked taking the backroads right to downtown. There were many extra amenities not listed, such as board games—also a great game setup, along with a TV and couch in the garage. The hill on the side of the house was just perfect for sledding; we were able to watch the kids and even some adults sled down it from the back porch. We will be back for sure!

Sounds far away, but so close to town
Can’t say enough about this wonderful property. Let’s start with the elk that make their way through the property every other day, the house was so perfectly placed you can see everything from the valley. The cleanliness was the best of the best, we’ve stayed at a lot of places and this place was CLEAN… even by our standards which are actually quite high. We were welcomed by a fun welcome basket with a favorite bottle of wine of mine and some of the best honey we’ve ever had (and we have honey bees!!) that’s saying something. Loved this place and it was so close to town it was crazy, doesn’t seem like it’s in the country at all. It’s the perfect blend of town and country!! We would recommend this place to anyone, our teenager very seldomly thinks things are impressive and she even commented on it. Can’t go wrong with staying here. What a wonderful experience for our family. Thank y’all!!

This vacation spot was perfect for our family of 6, from the easy check-in process to the cozy and comfortable home. The cabin was spotless. The location of the cabin was close to the area where my husband and sons go hunting yearly which was great.

Perfection!
We wanted our kids to experience a true Winter Christmas and we hit the jackpot! Having the space for kids to run around in the snow and play was just perfect. Wolf Creek was a short drive. Polar Express in Durango was magical! Of course the town of Pagosa is just so charming. The house was equipped with everything. My mom and I cooked every day. The fire, the blankets, all of it was just just perfect! Can’t wait to book again!

Amazing Pagosa Springs Location
We have been to Pagosa Springs 3 times and this has been be best and most beautiful location we have stayed! This was a family trip and the house had everything that we needed including indoor and outdoor games to play, some cocoa was provided and the outdoor fire pit was perfect! They had the most beautiful view of the mountain with amazing sunsets and we watched Mule Deer and Elk walk in the yard from the back windows! We hope to plan another stay here!

Fantastic stay
The property was beautiful and very comfortable. It far surpassed our expectations. Absolute peace and quiet, huge patio for excellent stargazing and morning coffee, and a beautiful and not too far drive from Pagosa. Excellent attention to detail in things like labels for the ten million light switches, fireplace, fire pit, etc. Huge book going over everything you needed to know about the property and surrounding area. Loved all the comfy blankets, great bedding. They left a cute gift basket for us. The house also came stocked with a lot of thoughtful things that don't come in most VRs - basic condiments and spices, a few snacks, keurig pods and creamer, every utensil you can dream of. As beautiful as the house is we were most impressed by how kind and communicative the person was assisting us with our stay. Funny and extremely responsive (I think she answered all of my texts in less than five minutes). We'd love to come back. Book this place immediately!

An Amazing Place
This house was very well thought out, everything you could think of was there for cooking, entertaining, small items you may have forgotten like Q-Tips, etc. The house is very clean! And the beds and bedding were very comfortably. The view from the back deck with the games, fire pit and comfy furniture is amazung both mornings and nights. We will definitely stay again!!
