The unit is outdated and needs TLC. We had to kill ants daily and found them in the bed frequently. The smoke alarm was not operational (no battery).
The property complex is very well maintained and staff are very friendly. The pool/hot tub are great and have an amazing view of the ocean. I would highly recommend the complex just not our unit.

It was very convenient location in Hilo. Next to lovely grounds. I did not see a hot tub, but did use pool. We had a mountain view but not an ocean view. The 3 balconies were great for viewing. For the price this is a good value. The bathtubs are old. But, they work fine. It is an older unit and building, but it was comfortable. Two bedroom and two bathrooms. Has coffee filters and shampoo. Has parking under facility. Walkable to a beach and lovely park area.

Great place to stay with small family.

You will be glad to know that the owner has just purchased and installed a lovely sleeper sofa with a TRUE size bed mattress so it is a comfortable bed, rather than the traditional sleeper sofas that are so uncomfortable.

Gotta love Punalu'u!! Great location
Publié le 1 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe love Punalu'u Black Sandy Beach and this is the perfect location. Quiet neighborhood, easy access, nice condo with everything you need. The pool n jacuzzi are nice, too.
This was our second visit to this unit and hopefully, not our last! Thanks again for a great stay:)

Close to the black sand
Publié le 7 déc. 2021 sur HomeAwayLocation was so close to the black sand beach, less than 10 miles from the green sand beach, and centrally located so we were able to enjoy both sides of the island. The condo had a beautiful view of the ocean but could use an update in the kitchen area.
