Publié le 3 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved this property! Very clean and well equipped with everything you can think of. Nicely situated to travel around the Island. Beautiful setting with fresh fruit from the trees on site. Comfortable beds. We would definitely book this property again!

Cute cottage in the Rainforest

Not too far to stores and to the ocean to watch the waves.
The cottage was well equipped and worked well for us. We loved the outdoor shower!!
The host provided clear instructions and was easy to communicate with.

Stress relief vacation
Publié le 9 août 2024 sur HomeAwayDriving from airport to the Leilani estates had me a bit worried as it is not the most attractive area in between. However, once at the gate it felt like entering paradise. We were greeted by a lush and tropical setting and the nicely decorated house had everything one can hope for (no dishwasher). No rooster noises while we were there, but plenty of birds and at night frogs, which I found absolutely charming and melodious. The homeowner even provided earplugs, I guess in case one might be bothered by the beautiful nature sounds. Definitely not us. Unfortunately, no sandy beaches in walking distance or close by. The closest and easily accessible we found was in Hilo....or maybe we missed some? All in all we had a great time at the Rainforest retreat and can only recommend it to all fauna and flora lovers.

Mahalo, for your wonderful comments , there is black sand beach on the red road called Kehena beach and also Pohoiki beach but we preferrer. to go to Hilo, theres also a free Olympic size swimming pool in Pahaoa thats very nice for swimming.

This place was perfect for us to connect, relax and enjoy the incredible beauty of Hawaii together. My mom had such a great experience.
