Amazing cottage in Paia!
Posted Jul. 26, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had such a fantastic time in Paia and the cottage was perfect for our family of 3! Very close to stores, restaurants, and tasty coffee shops. And not much further to walk to the beach! Highly recommend staying here for an "at home" feel but still enjoy everything Maui has to offer. Great location and the host was very kind and helpful.

Convenient location
Posted Jun. 24, 2024 on HomeAwayOur family of four loved our stay in Paia. The cottage was great and had everything we needed. It was just a short walk to downtown with lots of cute shops and restaurants. It was also a great starting spot for the Road to Hana and the Haleakala summit. Definitely recommend!

Nice, Private, Clean, Roomy
Posted Apr. 22, 2024 on HomeAwayMy wife and I enjoyed our stay at this Vrbo very much. The check in/check out was easy. The detached unit felt private and roomy. It was very clean. The place was as advertised. No surprises. Easy walk to Paia with its restaurants and shopping. Close to beaches and to airport. Good overall location on Maui.

Peaceful and well kept cottage
Posted Mar. 20, 2024 on HomeAwayThe cottage was very well kept and made us feel like we were right at home. The location is great and within walking distance of lots of restaurants and beaches. If we return to Maui this will be the first place we look to stay. We highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Maui.

Just okay
Posted Mar. 7, 2024 on HomeAwayThe online photos were misleading. In actuality, you walk into a unit with concrete floors and what appears to be not great thrift shop furnishings. (The pictures show some different furniture and a rug). I felt every day like I was walking into a garage that someone turned into a cottage. If the photos were more accurate, I would have booked elsewhere. On the plus side, it was super close to everything the town had to offer.

We are very sorry when our cottage does not meet a guests expectations. This cottage is not a converted garage. We chose to have concrete floors when we built it in 2004 for durability and they hold up to the sand and soil that gets tracked in. We also designed it to look like the plantation cottages which are prevalent in Paia. I do understand that in any business you can’t please all of the people all of the time. My reviews reflect what people experience and I have many guests that come back every year and love it. We strive to keep it clean and do change out the furniture when previous pieces become damaged or soiled. We love our cottage and think we have one of the best locations in Paia. 🌺🌴🌈

Lovely cottage in Paia
Posted Feb. 15, 2024 on HomeAwayClean, airy, well-appointed cottage on the edge of downtown Paia. Within walking distance of a great grocery store and numerous good restaurants. Paia has a funky hip surfer vibe. Conveniently located to access all parts of the island.
