Great property and great hosts
Publié le 9 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe've stayed three times in this neighborhood and this has been our favorite property so far. Kevin and Fran have made lots of updates. It's great having the boat dock at the house and a public ramp right down the street. While the fish didn't cooperate this time, we still had a blast celebrating Easter and hanging out with friends.

Great place for a quiet getaway
Publié le 17 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked. It has its own pier which is great for fishing. Many beach and walk locations nearby. We really enjoyed it.

Fishing Trip
Publié le 30 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe took a father/son fishing trip to Turtle Bay and stayed at the Barn on the Bay. We had a great visit! Fran and Kevin were great hosts, check-in/out was seamless, the house was clean and everything was as advertised. Most importantly there was a fishing pier the kids spent all day on. We would definitely stay here again!

New Years Hideaway
Publié le 6 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was very clean. Fran and Kevin were very accommodating. The area is very quite. The fishing pier is great for catching Trout, Reds, Flounder and very large Black drums and Reds. Can't wait to rent again.

Fishing and Relaxing
Publié le 19 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house is comfortable and in a great location for morning and evening fishing sessions on the pier. Close to Matagorda beach for surf fishing. Very quiet neighborhood and great backyard to sit and read a book while taking in the bay views.

Barn on the Bay
Publié le 25 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayVery nice property. Were down for a relative's memorial service, so we didn't get to spend as much time on the property as we wanted. But everything was great and loved being on the bay. House had everything we needed and loved drinking coffee on the porch as the day broke. Minor irritation about the internet or wifi cutting in and out while trying to watch a football game on TV, but no knocks on that as that's not what I would normally be doing while at the coast. Property felt like home.
