Charming Getaway near the river
Publié le 21 avr. 2022 sur HomeAwayDelightful charming cottage near the river. Our stay was so nice and peaceful - only the lovely chirping of many varieties of songbirds could be heard. It was so relaxing there. AT night we could stroll the nearly empty street and play with the adorable and friendly neighborhood cats. Such a delight. Charming neighborhood with interesting old homes in various stages of being fixed up or letting go lol. Nice neighbors too. Thanks for the relaxing layed back vibes.

Bike Week Getaway
Publié le 14 mars 2022 sur HomeAwayMy boyfriend & I loved staying at the River Cottage, it was exactly how it was advertised. The courtyard was full of plants, a swinging bench, water fountain. The inside was really well decorated & clean. We brought our small dogs with us, the property manager gave us some linens to cover the furniture which was much appreciated. There was a stocked mini frig, coffee for the coffee maker, the kitchenette had everything you would need. The property is in the Historic River District just a block from the water. Very quiet & beautiful and nice to walk around. Great restaurants close by. Bobby, the property manager was very sweet & accommodating, offering to let us put our motorcycle in the garage, as well. Great deal & lovely place. Highly recommend!

Host was amazing. Flowers and wine and he stocked the fridge. Adorable cottage atmosphere with a short walk to the river. Only negative was air quality when we arrived. A/c unit needed to be cleaned and should be run prior to arrival.
