The beds are very comfortable, the place is very clean, sanitizers were provided. During our stay the host was very attentive, if we needed something whenever we did reach out to them, they were there with a quick response. We did leave something behind and the host went out of their way to return it. If I attend the Coachella Music Festival again, i will make sure to book this place. This house has everything you need for your stay and the pool is right behind the back door. There is security 24/7, so i felt safer staying here.

My husband had a horrific allergy problem after just a few short hours after check in . We suspect mold . The owner has attempted to paint the water stains on the ceiling in multiple locations . The master shower has paint peeling in several areas. The bath towels need to be replaced as there’s holes and tears . Unfortunately, the owner cut off communication with us and told us to resolve our issue with VRBO. Due to the allergic reaction after staying less than 24 hours we had to make other accommodations. The owner refuses to refund the 6 days we were unable to stay at the property . We have both owned a home and had guests stay with usIng VRBO and have used VRBO for vacation stays 25+ times and have never had such a horrible experience.

This person wanted to leave the property to go elsewhere. She used multiple phony excuses such as: we have a safe in the house that is locked abs she was convinced there eas a gun in it and that was a reason to leave. She claimed there was mold in the bathroom shower and then retracted that claim. She claimed her husband had an allergy attack and left the house 10 in the morning and failed to advise us until after left. we have had many dozens of visitors over the past several years and get nothing but great reviews. N one ever left early and no ever claimed that the house was other than spotless.
We can only conclude that she wanted to move to a different city. Leaving early without telling us was was unprofessional and rude.

Great place if you are visiting Palm Desert. Close to shops and restaurants, the area in general is harder to get around walking, but accessible by car. The community is very safe and quiet.

Publié le 24 avr. 2021 sur HomeAwayThis is a very nice spot with excellent proximity to the pool. The home is clean and well stocked. Furniture is comfortable and the style is quirky and eclectic. Communication with the hosts was okay, they did arrive unannounced two times but were reasonable and nice. Check process is very easy.

Very Disappointed Stay........
Publié le 3 avr. 2020 sur HomeAwayThese owner’s need your money more than any sense of treating you kindly, with fairness or any renter entitlement. Upon arrival this unit was in need of serious cleaning. After our first night’s stay, we offered to move out and pay them about one weeks rent to let us out of the contract. They declined and hired some carpet cleaners and a professional cleaning service. Our rental was Feb. 23 to March 31, 2002. Homeaway initiated their Covid 19 policy March 13. At this point the virus impact was far reaching. The tennis tournament Indian Wells was cancelled, McCallum theater closed, restaurants closed except for take-out, Monterey CC closed, etc. All public venues issued refunds due to these unusual circumstances.
According to Homeaway, owners are suggested to rebook for other dates or make a settlement for not less than half per/nt rate. We notified owners the day prior to intended and departed on the 18th leaving early that morning. After contacting Homeaway, they issued a full refund on their booking fee on March 20. The owners maintained that we had every right to stay, but since we didn’t, we forfeit any unused days and were not going to issue a refund. They maintain they contacted Homeaway for guidance, but as you can see Homeaway saw fit to issue us their refund consistent with their policy. Homeaway also said we have no control over our owners and can only suggest they conform to the Covid 19 policy in this most unusual circumstance of World Pandemic.

Monterey Country Club
Publié le 2 mars 2020 sur HomeAwayThe pictures were a bit misleading as it was not as light and bright as the pictures showed. Also could do with less furniture and more openness. We enjoyed our time there. A plus to have washer and dryer. Enjoyed the pool right outside our door.

It appears that Jeff enjoyed his stay regardless of his assessment of the pictures. He was a good visitor and we heard no complaints or issues from him while he was there. When a visitor calls with an issue,which is rare, we take care of it immediately.
