My big thanks to Yolanda at Front desk for all her help! Somehow, my reservation which I made through Expedia was cancelled by the hotel; and she spent about 30min on the phone with her management to resolve the problem. After that, my stay was pretty good: nice bed, big room, good breakfast.

Next to Interstate. Very convenient to several places to eat. Good location if visiting Joshua Tree NP south entrance. Would stay again.
