Unique & Imaginative: Time Traveler's B&B in Downtown Palmer

Go north to the future and back in time! Welcome to Downtown Palmer's 5-star "Night in Another Time" experience! Specially designed for the Sci-Fi, movie, or history buffs in your life, this imaginative museum will fire your imagination and thrill your kids. The mountain view is spectacular, the grounds are delightful and the downtown location is ideal for walking. The entire upstairs level of the house is like your very own condo. Each room is modeled on a different era from famous time travel movies and there are plenty of games for rainy days. There are 2 bedrooms with private baths that sleep up to 5 adults. An excellent self-serve breakfast features "Hill Valley Breakfast Sandwiches" and "Clara's Souffles." Explore the garden and the Stargate Treehouse, too. A former Walt Disney Imagineer lovingly designed these rooms to give you an unforgettable and informative experience. There is an orientation video.

Things you'll see: 1) The Luggage Lift is a little amusement ride for your suitcases - it will lift your wheeled luggage to the 2nd floor in style.

2) The 1950s Paradox Parlor presents the story of The Twelve Monkeys SyFy series. Your hostess busses and resets the breakfast table every day. (there is no kitchen in the guest quarters)

3) The Hill Valley Continuum is what the Victorian honeymoon suite of Doc Brown and Clara Clayton might have looked like in 1885. If you've never watched Back to the Future 3, this is the perfect place to do that.

4) The Multiverse is where many stories collide. There are two twin beds and a bonus bed. The universe is depicted on the ceiling, the stars glow in the dark, and there are other mechanical wonders to amuse you. The Micro-verse (walk-in closet) can be transformed into a tiny bedroom with a 5'9" bed.

5)The hall bathroom (Quantum Realm) has a step stool for small travelers and features displays about the Quantum Leap TV show.

6) The Stargate Treehouse is a fun little space to have tea and watch the birds. The swing can support a grown-up!

Absolutely amazing experience!
The Time Traveler's B&B was hands down the most fun and interesting stay we've had to date. We especially appreciated the Doctor Who decor as we're huge fans of the series.Our host graciously prepared coffee for us each morning as well as a wonderful variety of breakfast foods. Everything was comfy, clean and totally amazing. Thanks for such a great stay!

This is a wonderful property. All of your needs are accounted for. Comfortable beds and lots of warm blankets. The time travel theme is so entertaining and engaging. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend and come back.

Amazing in every way!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place and its host. She anticipates your every need, leaves detailed instructions and it is such a fun place to explore, you could easily be entertained just staying in. There’s movies, an adorable parlor with a great Mountain View, garden..fun little gadgets from the past and future. Notes and pictures everywhere describing some of her favorite movies etc..Just all around amazing. I would recommend to anyone, any time

What a blast!
The cutest, most entertaining, bed & breakfast I have ever stayed in. Carol is the hostess with the mostest. Plus, neat has a pin, very clean, highly organized, delicious food, mountain views, all types of tea & coffee, a little ‘TV’ in the Parlor showing ‘I Love Lucy’ highlights, …..every detail of this place is a treat! and, Palmer is the perfect location for exploring Alaska on a roadtrip.

Not the usual ABNB!
Check in and check out where effortless. Carrol’s video is very informative and I watched it several times to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Spent three days, could’ve spent a week to read all the interesting items throughout the property. Fresh coffee every morning and goodies in the fridge and freezer were a welcome treat. I’ll go back with my wife next time we visit!

Wonderful place
This was an absolutely great place to stay. The views were wonderful. It was very walkable to Palmer, which made our stay even better. Carol, our host, was very thoughtful. She was kind, understanding and easy to communicate with. She seemed to have thought through every detail to make it better. The beds were comfortable and it was helpful having a separate room for the kiddos. It was endearingly quirky and fun. My eight year old said it was his favorite part of the whole trip. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit in the future

Carol’s attention to detail is top notch to make her place unique and fun! Although Carol lives downstairs, you won’t see her unless you need to….she is very responsive to any requests and the coffee and milk appears in the morning to add to the assortment of breakfast goodies! Carol and her property both deserve top ratings! She had everything taken care of. Uniquely appointed residence filled with entertainment and information. She was responsive to my requests but never intrusive. I would not hesitate to stay here if we ever get back to Palmer. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Carols home is amazing and very unique. The Parlor is a nice place to relax, have a bite to eat and enjoy the views. Carol stocks the fridge and freezer with a lovely variety of food for breakfast. We were quite full when we left and everything was delicious. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend a visit here.

Every detail of this property is carefully thought out. We enjoyed reading about all the time travel movies and viewing the related items. The garden was the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Location worked out great for us as well. Hope to return!

I’ve been visiting Palmer every few months for the last couple of years, staying at local hotels. No more! On a whim, I looked for a B&B for this trip and found Time Travelers. What a wonderful and amazing place. Everything was so much more interesting than the VRBO listing, and the accommodations were genuinely first class. The house was amazing. The breakfast was good and plentiful. She supplied anything you may need in the house. Someone in our group needed nail file and it was in a bathroom drawer. She thought of everything. We would definitely stay here again. The "Back To The Future" memorabilia throughout the house was enjoyable. Beds were comfortable.

A Magical Stay at Time Traveler's B&B
My family and I were absolutely charmed by Time Traveler's B&B in downtown Palmer. Our overnight stay was brief, but the attention to detail, cozy beds, and thoughtful (and creative!) touches throughout the B&B made our experience a great one. Fun family getaway
The Time Traveler's B&B was the perfect place for a weekend away with my kids. We all enjoyed the sci-fi decor, breakfast, and movie selection. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a private breakfast room, there was a ton of space to relax in. Bonus points for the backyard swing set and tree house!

nice stay
this place worked nice for us, plus it included breakfast. very clean. we went to talkeetna one day (90 min drive). then reindeer farm the next day. ate at palmer ale house, very good. also ate at AK philly sandwiches, again very good. this place was close to downtown. no complaints

What a fun place!
