Quiet bliss
Publié le 20 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur stay was wonderful in this beautiful cottage on the beach! Our host made sure all needs were met. Comfortable beds and nice bedding. Great balcony and screened in porch. Books, games and dvds available. Well equipped kitchen. Nice furniture and artwork.
This was our third stay and we will return.

Quiet and Beautiful
Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was a perfect vacation until Helene made us leave. However, the house was great, the beach was great and the host was beyond great. She prepared us with every bit of information we could want and even kept up with the weather and mandates, so we didn't have to. I look forward to making up for our shortened vacation.

Relaxing and quiet
Publié le 18 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was the best beach vacation. House was cozy and quiet. The beach was almost empty. We would walk the sandbars far out at low tide. Never left the house just stocked the fridge and made all our meals at the house. House was clean and communication with Wendy was great. Our dogs enjoyed the front yard and their dog bed that was there.

Amazing host, beautiful home, steps to the beach
Publié le 3 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWendy’s home was one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in, so much so, that we requested to stay an extra night. The property was immaculate, well stocked and has been really well cared for. It is located on the quieter end of Alligator Point, which we really enjoyed, with a short walk to the beach. Wendy was a great host and we would love to stay at her home again soon!

Hidden Gem
Publié le 22 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is our second stay at Miller High Life cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Wendy does a phenomenal job preparing the house for guests as well as offering a bottle
Of wine and food starters.
The location on the beach hosts the perfect backdrop for photos and is close to the sandbar my children and I enjoy exploring.
When we weren’t on the beach we were sitting on the back deck or screen porch. There is also a sitting area under the house with hammock, picnic table and rope lighting.
If you travel with a pet this property has a secure fenced in area and gate on the porch.
This is one of my FAVORITE places to visit to unwind and recharge… a true hidden gem.

Long Weekend
Publié le 3 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayI almost gave less stars for the accuracy of the listing because the pictures don’t do this place justice! It is adorable and though on the smaller side, still very spacious. The screened in porch overlooking the ocean was our favorite place to spend time when we weren’t on the beach! Yes the water is dark so if you are looking to snorkel, you likely won’t be happy but the beach is clean, has nice white sand & plenty of sea treasures to be found. 10/10 for a laid back, quiet getaway!
