Quaint and clean

We were there fishing and just needed a place to sleep and this was a great spot to come back to each day after getting off the water. It’s small, simple, clean and comfortable. I’d definitely stay again if we come back.

Mark, thanks so much for renting our family's beach house. We love the little dome! The soaring ceilings and huge loft (if you use it) really make for a spacious and comfortable stay. Our favorite part besides St. Teresa's unique feel and beautiful beach, is just sitting on the screened front porch in the mornings and enjoying coffee while listening to the birds and other animals in the woods and gazing at the Gulf. We hope you will return and glad you enjoyed your stay!

A great family vacation
Publié le 30 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a great stay in St Theresa. The beach house was perfect for our family of four. The owners were very great in communicating with us the whole time. Any questions or requests were answered quickly and efficiently. The owners were great about letting us use the beach supplies already at the house. We thought the walk to the beach was very easy, the road to get there is shaded with trees and it didn’t take long at all. My husband enjoyed fishing off the pier, and everyone we met on the beach and neighboring houses were so nice and polite. All in all I give it a 10 out of 10.

Hannah, thank you so much for staying at our home at the beach! We treasure the setting with a wooded backdrop, the birds, wind whistling through the pines, and of course the view of the Gulf. People don't really understand how different St. Teresa is until they come and experience it for themselves. We were hooked from our first vacation! Excellent Value in a Beautiful Location
Publié le 15 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayThis is a really cool house - a geodesic dome. It has everything you need to enjoy the beach - towels, chairs, boogie boards. And just a short walk. If you want to be on the beach you pay 2-3 times as much. This was the next best thing at a very reasonable price. It was perfect for our family to relax and spend time together. The beach is also fantastic - not very busy, warm water, and never very rough. I highly recommend this property.

We did get fussed at my other resident because we drove up to drop of beach items at walk way to beach. We did not park there just dropping things off. otherwise great trip!

Hi Aimee, I have to admit that we are disappointed that you left us a 3 star review for this, especially after we worked with you to accommodate your requests prior to check-in. We work hard to not only make sure all of our guests have everything they need to enjoy their stay, but to also ensure our home is properly and accurately described in our listing. Our listing clearly states the approximate distance to the beach (as measured by Google maps). The walk is level and flat on a sandy dirt road with little to no traffic. We even state the time it took for us to walk it at an average pace, and we mention that for some it may take a little longer. I would assume someone with a "bad knee" would take all of this into consideration when choosing to book or not and wouldn't allow that to affect their review for what was accurately described. As for the neighbor fussing, I'm sorry you experienced this, but our instructions at the house and in our welcome PDF sent to you ahead of your trip (where you found the beach access map) clearly say that the beach access is for foot traffic only. Taking liberty to drop things off by car anyway can impede others that we share access with who use the path. Also, I'm sure they were upset, since this would have also blocked access for three residents to their homes and driveway. Not only that, this could affect our relationship with our neighbors, hence why we ask our guests to follow the rules regarding the access. Regardless, I'm still glad you guys reported to us that you had a good time. It is always our hope that our guests can enjoy the beautiful area and relax while staying at our home.

Lovely stay, quiet beach
Publié le 8 janv. 2022 sur HomeAwayThis geodesic home has a really really great location - Saint Terese Beach. The neighborhood is family oriented, quiet, and full of charm. The gulf is visible from the screened porch, and the beach itself is a short walk away.
Checking in was a cinch, and our hosts made us very welcome.

Relaxing getaway
Publié le 18 oct. 2021 sur HomeAwayOur first impression as we drove through the woods on the dirt road was, “This is perfect!” Then we got to the house! It is like a cabin on stilts! Everything we needed and more was furnished. The yard is very private yet close to the beach. We loved the remoteness and being surrounded by nature! We visited Alligator Point and St. George, but St. Teresa beach was our favorite. This was one of the most relaxing vacations we’ve ever had and we can’t wait to go back!

Peaceful, Relaxing, Cozy

Perfect beach getaway home
Publié le 1 août 2021 sur HomeAwayThe owner of this property has definitely stayed at rental homes through out the years. Every small detail that you wished a home had they have taken care of. You don’t have to bring towels, linens, beach gear, paper towels, toilet paper etc. they keep it all stocked for you. Anyone who has been on these vacations know how quickly these items add up cost and space wise, so it’s great to not have to worry about these things. The owner is easy to communicate with if you have any needs or questions. But a detailed binder at the home explains everything you need to know. The home sits back amongst a beautiful tree canopy, the nights are quiet and relaxing. They have smart TVs throughout the home if that’s your thing, that comes preloaded and signed into all the apps already so you or your children can quickly watch their favorite programs. But the true star of the home is St. Teresa beach, if your looking for a a quiet private beach to just waddle in the water and catch some rays then this is the place for you.
