Perfect beach getaway

While the beach house is perfectly located directly on the beach with private path and private beach area, the house definitely lacks some updating! Unfortunately we were greeted by a pile of dog poop on the deck, which took till the next afternoon to be picked up. I thought the house was not allowing dogs? As the inside appeared to be clean, if you want to use any dishes, you had to clean them again before using, they were dirty, rusted or broken. Very disappointing as I was planning to prep some meals. Some of the appliances are very vintage, the toaster and iron is probably from the 70s and has seen better days. The mattresses definitely need to be replaced! You can feel the springs! The outdoor furniture on the top deck is completely ripped and broken. The beach chairs and toys in the shed are all rusted or broken! It’s like a grave yard of beach stuff in there! Kim has been amazing in responding, but wish they would update the interior with new kitchenware, outdoor furniture and mattresses. I love the location, but due to the cleanliness I don’t think I will return unfortunately. This could be such a gem!

Thanks so much for the feedback. Again we are so sorry about the puppy poo on the back porch, the housekeeper obviously missed it and wasn't able to make it the evening you mentioned it since her staff was all off for the night. We are always striving to improve and the other feedback was extremely helpful. We have inventoried the kitchen items after your stay and have replaced the necessary items based on your feedback. We also purchased new cushion covers to replace the ones with small tears that you mentioned. Our mattresses are actually only a few years old and I did not notice anything uncomfortable about either during our recent stay, but yes we seem to accumulate more beach toys, boogie boards, and beach chairs than are needed. While they seem to rust almost immediately, we try to discard broken items (not rusted but functional) on a quarterly. Again I'm sorry that we did not meet your expectations and are working to constantly improve.

Fantastic stay on Inlet Beach

Missing some curtains in the master bedroom - we had to use Macguiver some bed sheets into curtains while we were there.
My father also graciously organized the entire storage closet under the unit.
Fantastic location - can’t beat it. This was our 2nd stay here.
