Rundown Rental: Broken Promises & Unhelpful Owner
This cottage rental was a big disappointment. The property itself was in disrepair, and the advertised amenities (hot water, Wi-Fi, and activities like ATVs and cycling) were all nonexistent. To make things worse, the husband owner was unhelpful and offered no solutions when we raised our concerns. While the wife was friendly, it wasn't enough to salvage a frustrating stay. Look elsewhere for a relaxing and well-equipped vacation rental.

The guest was a problem to the resort and was almost evicted for not treating the property with respect. Paddles and boats were left in the water to almost float away and they had to be told by children around them to get them. The resort is NOT in disrepair and is exactly what is listed. Cycling and ATVing are not something we offer so why one would say that is silly. We are close to the trails but do not rent ATVs and never mentioned bikes. These guests were disrespectful and we would not have them back. The history of positive reviews on Google and our site speak for themselves. We wish these guests well at other resorts.
