Lovely pool with efficient pool heating if you take this option.
The owner and the management company are always willing to help'. Definitely a good choice for successful vacation time.

Great stay at Villa Mara
Publié le 9 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayExcellent villa in a great location. Easily walkable to several restaurants and great beaches. There is a small supermarket over the road too.
The villa is comfortable, well equipped and has a lovely pool which gets the afternoon sun.

Ok but disappointing.
Publié le 22 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayArrival and check in were fine, we were rather surprised to find the front of the house being totally overlooked by the rear of a hotel.
We found hair on the floor of both bathrooms, and discarded tissue on the floor of the master.
Outside was the biggest let down, the pool was totally shaded, and the sun only reached the sun beds between 2-4pm ( very disappointed )
The barbecue cover was torn and tatty.
The air conditioning units for the hotel opposite all kick into life at 06.30am sharp, and constant noise from trucks delivering and collecting from the hotel at all times of day and evening.
The housing estate is small and secluded, but the houses turn over regularly, and we had issues with 3 separate properties and loud parties during our stay.
The property management company that are paid to look after the Villa made no contact with us during our 10 day stay, and no linen or towels were changed at any point.
When we departed, we stripped the main bed, and found the mattress protector to be very stained and rather unpleasant, this is a simple check that the cleaners should be undertaking on each clean, and it’s easy to wash / exchange the mattress protector.
The interior was fine, lounge area was spacious, however the kitchen is very tired and rather tatty, and very limited preparation area.
The hoover supplied has no attachments, and smelt really awful when we switched it on ( only briefly )
The ironing board cover is torn and damaged, and is not useable.

Beautiful villa
Publié le 17 août 2024 sur HomeAwayFirst time staying in a villa and more so, first time booking flights, accommodation and transfers individually. As such, we were understandably nervous.
With regards to the accommodation part, we could not have been more delighted. Firstly, the hosts. Extremely communicative with a fantastically detailed, descriptive and comprehensive welcome pack, sent before travel. This was a really useful list of dos, don’ts and recommendations from transfers to beaches, restaurants and places to visit.
In relation to the villa itself…..WOW. It’s beautiful. An excellent sized, open plan living and kitchen area. Six seater dining table, large sofa, more entertainment devices than you will need, an entire home from home cooking facility and all tastefully decorated. A very handy downstairs toilet and combined shower room is also very handy.
Upstairs, three double bedrooms with one double bed and two rooms with two single beds per room. Ample storage space in all three rooms and plenty of hangers. Three hairdryers are available, one in each room. Spacious main bathroom with bath and shower.
It’s not until you go outside that you appreciate the pool area. Another 6 seater dining table, small patio set and six quality sun loungers. The pool itself is an absolute bonus to have along with the poolside shower. There also a few pool games to entertain you outside.
A brilliant holiday and highly recommended.

Perfect accommodation, perfect location
Publié le 3 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is our second stay at this house, the location is ideal, walking distance to konnos bay and mikes sports , walking distance to snorkel at an original roman harbour , also can walk to mimosa beach and a couple of lovely restaurants, especially konnos grill opposite the road who serves homemade Greek dishes, absolutely delicious. Short car drive to protaras or Ayia naps and is particularly recommend watching the sunset at cape greko.
The villa /house has everything you need, it’s perfect… and I’m sad the two weeks are over already !
My husband and I took my daughter 17, son 20 and her girlfriend, we all saw turtles whilst snorkelling at Green Bay and konnos bay, so be sure to take snorkal masks and an under water case for your phone as we got amazing footage

Gute Unterkunft
Publié le 26 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayDie Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben. Die Beheizung des Pools ist gegen eine zusätzliche Gebühr möglich. Die Räume sind ausreichend groß. Die Unterkunft kann mit mind. 4 Erwachsenen belegt werden, da 2 Bäder zur Verfügung stehen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, sodass es an nichts fehlt. Die Küchenschränke haben schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Rücken, sodass diese mal ausgetauscht werden sollten. Die Elektrogeräte sind hingegen einwandfrei. In einigen umliegenden Ferienhäusern wird momentan renoviert. Hierdurch kam es gelegentlich zu Lärm. Das vor dem Haus befindliche Hotel bietet abends gelegentlich Musikveranstaltungen. Die Musik ist dann auch im Haus zu hören. Haben wir jedoch nicht als negativ befunden. Die Einfahrt zum Wirtschaftshof des Hotels befindet sich in hörbarer Entfernung. Hier ist der Piepton der rückwärts fahrenden LKWs gelegentlich zu hören. Was uns aber auch nicht weiter gestört hat. Alles in allem können wir die Unterkunft gut empfehlt.

Publié le 22 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a lovely stay at the villa, everything was as it said. The heated pool was great, kids loved being in there even in the rain. BBQ was great. Adrain was very quick in responding. We went to most recommended places which were all great. The Japanese restaurant in Ayia Napa where they cook infront of you called Hokkaido was amazing, great experience for adults and children. Drinks at Grecian parks cliff top bar was lovely and reasonably priced drinks. The restaurants to walk to were good as well. Buses and taxi were easy. Airport transfers all good. Boat trip we were lucky to see turtles. Great location if you dont mind walking or using transport.
