This is a small one bedroom apartment just a few steps from the heart of the legendary Rue Cler pedestrian street made famous by its fresh food shops and Bistros. Here you are midway between the Invalides Museum (where Napoleon I is buried), the Quai Branly Museum for indigenous art and the Champs de Mars park with the Eiffel Tower. This is a high value residential district that is home to many diplomats, French government administrators, and academics from the nearby American University. It has easy access to transportation with the Ecole Militaire metro station and bus lines 69, 80, 28, and 920
The apartment which is on the first level ( second american ) of a XIX century building consists of a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer and a table for 2, a bedroom with a hotel quality queen size ( 160cm*200cm or 65*80 inches ) bed, closet, tv and desk and a small bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. kitchen and bedroom opens with 2 windows on a quiet and large courtyard planted with trees therefore is away from street noise. you can sleep with windows open. both windows close with wooden shutters.

The apartment comes with free WI-Fi and free cable TV .

The all-inclusive rental fee covers quality linens and towels.

The location is very convenient to tour Paris. It is a walking distance (less than or around five minutes) to eiffel tower, museum du quai branly, invalides, rodin museum) . It is a lovely walk (less than 30 minutes) or a short direct metro ride (less than 5 minutes) to the tuileries garden , louvre, champs elysees.

L’emplacement est bien mais l’immeuble est vieux , l’appartement est vétuste , salle d’eau avec toilette minuscule . Literie médiocre , matelas extrêmement mou .On a quitté les lieux une nuit plus tôt.

A conseiller fortement...tout ce que nous recherchions.
Bon accueil malgré un retard d’avion de deux heures hors de notre contrôle. L’emplacement est idéal, près de tout épicerie, métro, Tour Eiffel. L’appart est vraiment comme sur les photos. Lit très confortable. Situé au deuxième étage nous permettant de dormir les fenêtres ouvertes sans inquiétude. Lave-linge fonctionne (ne vous gênez pas pour demander son fonctionnement!). Séchoir à linge SOUS lit...nous l’avons cherché. Vraiment le seul bémol est la construction dans l’immeuble adjacent (beaucoup de bruit) mais si vous êtes des lève -tôt (vers 8h)...pas de problème. Nous allons recommander cet apppart sans inquiétude ça c’est certain.

Une première expérience décevante
Le responsable était très agacé lors de notre arrivée. Un autre couple attendait pour leur clé depuis plusieurs minutes... comme si c'était notre faute. L'accueil n'était vraiment pas à la hauteur de nos attentes. Présentation des consignes en quelques secondes. Document en anglais seulement. Son urgence d'avoir la balance de son argent était à la limite insultante. Appartement très froid. 24 heures de chauffage au maximum pour avoir un certain confort. Propreté lassant à désirer surtout pour le plancher. Pour les meubles, il y avait de la poussière comme si l'appartement n'avait pas été loué depuis plusieurs semaines. Des travaux à proximité dès 8 h le matin. Comment expliquer que du plâtre se retrouvait par terre tous les matins, entre le couloir d'entrée et la salle de bain ??? Vous pouvez imaginer les coups et la vibration que devait supporter la structure de l'habitation. Que dire de la douche, j'avais bien lu que c'était petit mais soyez averti quelle est minuscule. Une personne de plus de 200 lbs ou 90 kg aura beaucoup de difficulté à s'y glisser. Aussi, attention aux brûlures car l'eau chaude est vraiment trop chaude. Seules avantages, sa localisation et sa proximité avec le métro. Le rue Cler est très sympatique.

Extrèmement bien située, mais très petit
À moins de 10 min. à pied du Champ-de-Mars, à mi-chemin entre la Tour Eiffel et les Invalides. Uns station de métro se trouve à moins de 200m et la proximité avec la rue Cler est une bénédiction. Sur cette rue il y a multitudes de boutiques, bistros, épicerie, charcuterie, boucherie, fruiterie, brasserie etc. L’appartement n’est cependant pas selon les standards Nord-Américains. Salle de bain minuscule, (1m X 1m) petite cuisine que pour deux, petite chambre à coucher. Cependant, même si vieillot, le tout était très propre. Tous les accessoires de cuisine étaient presque neufs, vaisselle, coutellerie, micro-onde, etc. Literie de bonne qualité, lit confortable. Appartement silencieux autant des bruits de la rue que du voisinage. La petite cours intérieure n’est pas des plus accueillantes, mais on n’y reste pas. Finalement la description et les photos concordaient avec l'annonce. En conclusion, pour un couple qui désire avant tout visiter Paris, et qui désire un pied à terre c’est un bon rapport qualité prix.

Manager unpleasant
We arrived early in the morning I had to go through customs took a little bit longer. It was raining, and he complained that we were taking our time getting there. He literally argued rather than recognition of us renting from him. I actually apologized for the tardiness due to broken down train on the metro. We ended up walking and he hung up on me three times the place was OK we enjoyed ourselves, but he was very unpleasant. He also expected us to do the laundry that he left in the washer.He also had a blackeye from somebody obviously hard to get along with. Besides that, Paris was wonderful. We enjoyed the city.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
Literally 50 yards from the Rue Cler, with the greatest cafes and restaurants and markets! Oh, the food! Wow! About 100 yards from the metro! 10 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower! The place itself was quaint, older, as one might imagine in a 300 year old building, comfortable, and everything worked! Olivier, the manager, was a most excellent host, who gave great counsel on how to use everything in the apartment, which included the keys, the washer/dryer combo, the TV and cable, the WiFi, etc! Very helpful! His communication with us was excellent from the moment we booked the VRBO, till we met at the passageway to the apartment, on time. The 7vin restaurant listed on the apartment instructions had amazing great food and atmosphere. We spent very little time in the apartment as we were always on the go for our one week dash through Paris! Shower was small but had great hot water and pressure. We were warm enough in the 3rd week of November when they had their 1st snow. Like I said, everything worked, and worked well. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect for an exploratory trip
We loved staying here. We felt a little bit like locals because of the apartment’s location in a residential building and regularly seeing neighbors. This is not a luxury hotel and is neither decorated nor presented as such. It is a place to stay. The important parts were taken care of, and that’s what mattered the most to us. The bed was exactly what we were hoping for after a long flight, the shower water was hot, there was a fridge, stove, and a washer/dryer combo, an ironing board and iron, and fresh towels. The location was perfect. It was removed from the touristy areas without being too far away, and it was a 3 minute walk from one of the nicest open market streets. There were plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, souvenir shops, clothing and shoe stores and basically whatever else a traveler might need. It was awesome and we will miss it. Thank you to the host for being so great!

Compact apartment in fabulous area. Olivier met us on arrival to show us where and how everything worked. Yes, the bathroom is small, but it serves the purpose and we never had a problem. The only concern was the noise from upstairs, especially in the middle of the night. Maybe a chat with the neighbour would have helped?.

Great location. Has all you need.
This apartment is in a great location close to Rue Cler where you have easy access to food, restaurants and convenience stores. Clean and tidy. It even has a washing machine/dryer. Easy walk to the Eiffel Tower, and I walked everywhere! Only one flight of stairs, which was important as I had knee surgery 6 months ago. Good communication with manager and easy to deal with. Bathroom was a bit small but it’s perfect for a week’s stay.

Perfect location
This was a great property for our stay. My teenage daughter and I shared the bed. Small unit, but big enough for the two of us. You can’t beat the location. Proximity to Rue Cler and Ecole Militaire metro stop is perfect. Having a kitchen allowed us to have snacks, breakfast in the flat and a glass of wine at night for mom. Was also nice to pack clean clothes for the return home instead of dirty laundry. I would highly recommend this property and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Good but a few tweaks could improve it
Pros: great location, comfortable bed (very soft) quiet and safe. Cons: super small bathroom and shower. Be prepared for this. Lovely artwork shown in pictures was missing (was that photoshopped in?). No washcloths and towels were dingy (we found some new ones in a drawer). Could use a new dish sponge for each tenant since dishes need handwashing. It’s a very small place but the location is great. Near metro and great restaurants. We recommend La Terasse and Le Petit Cler. Good value as far as a place to stay near the Eiffel Tower and great neighborhood.

200 ft to Rue Cler. Typical Parisienne size apartment. The sole “weakness” is that the shower was so small, I couldn’t NOT get touched by the shower curtain while trying to bathe.

This property is as advertised. The bed is very comfortable and the location is very convenient. The kitchen has the basic necessities . But if you want someplace cozy to sit and relax between outings, this apartment lacks a comfortable place to sit. The bathroom is very small and the shower is tiny. Also, there is a very noisy neighbor who lives upstairs and keeps a late schedule. Not the fault of the host, I realize.

Advertisement was altogether not a reality. Very difficult to shower or to use the toilet. It takes three days to warm up enoug to shower. Upon arrival the washing machine was full of wet bed sheets. Add showed seeing the Eiffel tower etc... that was entirely impossible. Entrance was unlit from an alley way...not comforting at night. Also added things to be do before leaving , so as not to incurr additional costs, was not before hand mentioned.. Also said to be at ground level, and was not. My wife and I are both handicapped. Nuff said.
