Family reunion
Publié le 2 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe interior of the house was really fun and had lots of things for the kids to do. They really kept busy shooting basketballs or playing on the indoor slide. They also liked the hidden playroom. The older kids and adults had fun with the air hockey and pool table. Only a few people used the hot tub, and we didn’t use the theater room, except for a place to sleep.
I was disappointed in the exterior landscaping, partly because of the trucks and dumping of dirt going on nearby. We did use the fire pit two nights, and that was fun.
We had counted on using the two futons in the great room as a sleeping area, but there are no blinds on the many windows in that area, so I would not consider that a viable sleeping area.

We are so happy to hear that you had fun and enjoyed your time at the lodge.
We are in the process of doing additional landscaping. The owners have purchased thousands of plants and ground cover and it should look incredible in a few weeks! The dirt walls around the parking lot will be covered in topsoil and hydro seeded, so it will look beautiful there too. There are occasional trucks going by on the main road. The lodge sits up and away from the main road and has the privacy dirt walls we are hydro seeding that are around so it so the vehicles on the main road shouldn’t affect our guests. We are working hard to make sure our guests love everything about their time at the lodge.

Browns Canyon Lodge Experience
Publié le 10 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe celebrated our 50th anniversary/family reunion at Browns Canyon Lodge with 40 family members and had a wonderful time. The Lodge was spacious and clean and was located in a beautiful, quiet location about 15 minutes from Park City. We had plenty of room for group gatherings and for meals which we very much needed . The younger children spent hours and hours playing on the pirate ship and the little playroom near the stairs. Our teenagers loved playing pool, air hockey, foosball and the occasional basketball game. We also enjoyed the theater and the hot tub. Having two kitchens and three refrigerators was awesome for our big family. The hosts were always very quick to respond to any needs or questions we had. We had a great experience!

A great place for a family gathering
Publié le 1 août 2023 sur HomeAwayFrom the time we arrived at the property until the time we left, the managers of this lovely property were attentive and very helpful. Children ranging in age from 6 to 17 had plenty to do, and the adults had great gathering space for visiting. The pirate ship and indoor basketball court kept younger children busy, and the theater room allowed all to relax and watch their favorite shows. The primary kitchen was large and inviting, and there were tables on both floors for puzzling, gaming, writing, arts and crafts, and eating. Three refrigerators held food for three days, with plenty of space to spare. We had a great time around the fire pit while roasting marshmallows and reminiscing. It was great to get away from the city heat for a few days and have time together. Thank you for providing this beautiful spot.

Family Get Away

Managers Retreat
Publié le 20 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe property was gorgeous. The number for available sleeping included futons in the upstairs and the game room. Limited showers for a group of 18. Too few blankets and sheets for all of the beds.
Our group made the best of it, and we had a great time. We would stay there again if some of the small issues were resolved.

We have asked our team to leave additional blankets and pillows in each room. Upon check in, we will ask if groups are planning to use the futons, if so, we will get the futon bedding and pillows for them. We give our phone numbers to guests upon check in and are available anytime, if any need or question arises. Our team is very responsive and more than happy to go above and beyond to help guests in any way possible. We’d love to have you back again! We currently have the 7 bathrooms (6 with showers) but have future plans to add one more bathroom with shower. Please message me if you have any further feedback. It is extremely important to me that all of our guests have a wonderful time at the lodge and a 5 star experience.

Great Experience!

Great Reunion
Publié le 7 août 2022 sur HomeAwayWe had a group of 36 stay here for our family reunion. We ate meals together in the very nice and big main floor kitchen. The kids watched movies in the theater room. We spent time at close by lakes. Everyone loved that they had their own bedroom and bathroom. I would recommend this place and Kristen, Michael and Zack’s who helped us with every question or concern to anyone needing a place for a big group.
