Beautiful house with private beach

Posted Aug. 6, 2024 on HomeAwayThis house is situated in what might be the most beautiful place in the world. In addition to that... it is very, very well stocked for guests and provides many comforts from home for those who are from away.
What the private beach lacks in size, it more than makes up for with intimacy, serenity, and convenience. By the end of the week we began and ended each day "at home" at our "cove beach." Also, Cousins Shore Beach is a few minutes away and is awesome.
We went to PEI with a long "to-do list", but found ourselves constantly pulled back to the Green Gables Shore and the Seal Mara property.
While we were there we met several local neighbors. They were all gracious and generous.
Five stars. 10/10. This is a great property.

Swept Away
Posted Jul. 30, 2024 on HomeAwayWhat an amazing week! The property is stunning the private beach access was the highlight for my kids, was great for fishing as well. My husband caught a 40lb striper right off the beach!
The location is ideal close to cavendish and all it has to offer and literally down the street from Anne of green gables museum.
Be sure to go down to new London warf and do some deep sea fishing as well as eat at the Sou West.
This property was the perfect destination for my family I had a hard time getting my kids to leave (4 & 8) . A perfect gem!

Wonderful
Posted Jul. 24, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had a wonderful time staying here. Loved that it had access to a private beach. The water wasn’t the best for swimming when we were there (lots of seaweed) but we hunted for sea glass and still had a great time. Close to Kensington which has a grocery store, a couple of restaurants as well as a liquor store.

Absolutely wonderful!
Posted Jun. 29, 2024 on HomeAwayI cannot say enough about how great our stay at Seal Mara was. We have stayed in a number of VRBOs and none have been this well equipped. This place had everything we needed and more. The kitchen is fully stocked. The towels and linens were many and they were plush and soft. The beds were very comfortable. The views were breathtaking and the place is serene and quiet. The beach was a short five minute walk. There was incredible attention to detail, from the design to the guest experience. I would highly recommend.

Great setting and just what we were looking for
Posted Aug. 13, 2023 on HomeAwayThe property is neat, clean, and very well-stocked. The property manager was very responsive when we reported trouble with the gas grill. Communications around the required departure time by 10:15am, or else incur a $250 fee was off-putting, but this didn't impact our enjoyment of the stay. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Perfect Location

The cottage is only a 2 min walk down a bright red dirt road to the beach. The beach was private and serene, and our children loved exploring the tide pools and looking for sea glass. The cottage is definitely a 2 bedroom, with a loft that we used as a third space to sleep. The wraparound deck was the perfect spot to take in the AMAZING view. Unreal! Loved it!

Great place to stay while visiting family in the area!!
Posted Jul. 1, 2023 on HomeAwayWe loved this property! The views cannot be beat!! New property with all the amenities. We appreciated the 2 bathrooms. Beaches nearby for walking. No AC but strong breezes and good windows. The breezes help keep mosquitos away. Beautiful artwork! This is not a cottage for very large people, the furniture and indoor shower are modest size- not a problem for us!!
Beds comfortable and linens great quality. We hope to be back!

Park Corner
Posted Jun. 22, 2023 on HomeAwayMy wife and I really enjoyed this house in what seemed like the middle of nowhere, but once we discovered all the places to visit in the area, it turned out to be perfect. We enjoyed coming "home" to this very interesting location. The house had everything we needed to make the stay wonderful. As we are from Miami, this "middle of nowhere" experience was a welcome change. We took day trips to places all around us, and when we returned "home", we would sit on the porch thinking of the traffic and madness of Miami and how peaceful we were at the moment surrounded by so much open space. The owner was amazing and fantastic and if she reads this review, she will know exactly what I mean. We really loved everything about this unique home and location!
