Publié le 18 août 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall the place was great and we had an amazing time. The place is very clean, well equipped, and exactly as advertised. The little community of houses is very cute and there were a lot of friendly families around. The proximity to the mini golf was a favorite for our kids. The only call out I will make is that I believe it says an 8 minute walk to the beach but closest public beach (Rathtrevor Beach) is probably a 20+ minute walk for adults. It was recommended to us strongly that with kids you should drive there.

Island Get Away
Publié le 19 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay, very enjoyable. Everything we needed was there. The internet was a bit of an issue. Beach access was not the greatest a bit of walk for sure when you have all your beach essentials, especially when the weather is hot. The only suggestion I will make is that there be a night table and lamp of some kind on each side of the beds for, water, reading, etc. We would definitely make a return visit.

We cooked meals and had an amazing stay. We used both outdoor patios, depending on where the sun was, and appreciated the ability to have coffee in the morning outdoors. The upstairs pull-out sofa may be better suited to kids (my adult kid found it to be less comfortable than the beds). In general, a wonderful cabin - would stay again!!!
