Doubly perfect
Publié le 14 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe location is doubly perfect (for nature lovers). It's a great place to relax (very quiet at night) and observe birds, and it's close to areas in the desert where we do behavioral research on insects. Two weeks seemed like too short of a time to stay.

Hiking and Birding

Cozy canyon getaway

We were there for a week in which it rained, snowed and hailed but we were warm and entertained between storms by the abundant birdlife coming in to the feeders. Clean, well kept, lovely. All our Tucson friends were surprised and delighted by this sweet find in the canyon. Thank you so much!

Nice mountain visit with family
Publié le 20 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe rented the property because it was co-located with another of the owner’s properties nearby. Our nephew and his spouse stayed the weekend. The cabin is nicely furnished and the location is superb next to a babbling brook. It was spotless and ever worked. Being located in a national forest, the cabin is near many hiking trails and is a fun place for outdoor people.

Saw some wildlife, turkeys, coatamundis and lots of birds. We are definitely coming back for birthdays and other special occasions. Very relaxing, right in the middle of the forest. Can't say enough about this treasure.

Perfect Retreat

A nice creekside retreat

A great place for morning coffee, with deer, turkeys, squirrels keeping you company. Quiet, relaxing, everything needed for a pleasant stay. Close to birds, hiking, mountain views. Excellent value.

Lovely Getaway
Publié le 25 avr. 2022 sur HomeAwayThis cozy little red house is perfect for two. The kitchen is well equipped. There is plenty of information on the area, hiking and birding. If the weather keeps you inside there is a variety of books and movies available. Hanging bird feeders on the deck provides bird entertainment. During our stay, four varieties of hummingbirds came to the feeders and an Elegant Trogon was heard and spotted from the deck. The hiking trails are right outside the door. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, as always, and recommend this sweet little red cabin!
