Get away from it all and explore your own slice of the Ohio wilderness at this 1-bathroom 1 bedroom custom rustic cabin. This Patriot vacation rental is very secluded and is the perfect retreat for hiking, fishing, hunting, and relaxing in nature. Bring a boat and hit the water at Timber Ridge Lake or Raccoon Creek, fire up the gas grill to cook dinner, then head inside to warm up by the wood-burning stove. End the night unwinding on the porch watching deer and wildlife or stargazing by the fire pit. If you long for peace and quiet and disconnect from the fast pace life then here you go!

Beautiful and secluded stay!
Cabin was lovely and clean. Cozy! The ladder into the loft bedroom is definitely not for the faint of heart - would not recommend this cabin to anyone with mobility issues. Very quiet, firepit and wood on site were awesome. Lovely stars and moon viewing. Saw plenty of deer, foxes, neat birds including an owl. Leaves were so beautiful this time of year. Kitchen was lovely for cooking a meal. Road into the cabin is gravel - I have a small sedan and we made it work. THERE IS NO SERVICE OUT HERE! Don't do what I did - save down the gate and door codes before you arrive. We had to go back to town to get service to grab the codes. Silly me! One issue was that the bathroom had a weird smell - I think something is up with the septic. Would recommend the owners check this out. Also, no cutting board on site that we could find. Otherwise, kitchen was well-stocked with things I think folks had left behind. Also a selection of DVDs and board games. We had a lot of fun exploring the property and heading into Point Pleasant to check out the mothman. Would stay here again! Thank you, Fullers!

Lovely little one room cabin
The cabin was simple and nicely appointed, with quality furniture and no extra clutter. Built for service and practicality, which our family prizes! The loft was perfect for the children and the sofa bed was surprisingly soft and comfortable. The porch is perfect and our son quickly mastered the ring game. Would highly recommend! The only downside to our stay was the difficulty with the back roads in southern OH, but once you figure out your route it isn't too bad. We were awakened in the night on our last night by the electronic deadbolt being unlocked! There was no other noises (footsteps, knob rattling, etc) to indicate an actual person, but it was quite unsettling. The owner said it was most likely a low battery issue. We wouldn't let that keep us from staying again, and he said they're adding a hot tub soon. :)

It was the perfect getaway for my husband and I! It was our second anniversary and the seclusion of the cabin was really nice and relaxing. Definitely recommend on staying here if you ever want to go to Patriot OH.

You are surrounded by nature at the end of a dirt road. No wifi or cell signal makes this a great place to disconnect and unwind. Amazing gor bird watchers

This was an excellent experience! Be sure to write down the gate code and door code before signal is lost. Otherwise, you will have a 10 minute drive to gain signal enough to look it up. Property is beautiful and peaceful! We left the board game "sorry" and the movie "passengers". Hope to see what else is added when we return!

Great Get Away!!
This cabin was absolutely perfect for what I wanted! Secluded. Quiet!! Peaceful! An absolutely wonderful get away spot. Loved the fire pit. And the grill came in most handy! Excellent communication with the owner and he made sure all was well with my stay. I highly recommend this cabin for a nice get away!

Great stay at a private secluded cabin
If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to do it! Very private, quiet (few to no human noises), ample nature. The cabin is clean and well maintained, and the facilities worked perfectly. The drive through rolling hills and farms was a joy. The hosts were available but never intrusive. Wonderful stay overall.

Great little place, nice and secluded. Host was quick to answer questions and very communicative. No cell service near by, but the cabin itself has a boost, but save your directions before you get to the nearby town in case you lose service
