Fantastic Getaway!
Posted Nov. 10, 2024 on HomeAwayPerfect little cabin, very clean! The location is superb and the nice afternoons on the large deck were a treat! Bonnie was wonderful with the communication and made the whole process very efficient! Will definitely be back another time!

Quaint
Posted Sep. 25, 2024 on HomeAwayEverything was as listed. It was a very small, quaint cabin. The most difficult portion was the parking. It was not clear that the parking was just a pullout along the paved road (no driveway) and that there was a 500-ft walk (with stairs) to the cabin. We are able-bodied with good eye-sight, so when we got there in the dark, it was not a huge issue for us, but felt that portion was misleading in the listing. Otherwise, it is fairly quiet, even if the cabin is next to a paved road.

In this very small mountain community, the level parking area is all entirely on our property of .72 acres. It can hold up to 3 cars. We have been told we have the absolute best parking on the mountain. I just did a video for VRBO showing it took me 29 steps to get from my car, down the 15 stairs and to the deck for a total of 29 steps. Perhaps this is a typo and you were thinking it was a "50 foot walk"? But only 29 for me in the video. If you were to walk 500 feet, it would be past multiple other properties, almost to the end of Crestline Road. It is wonderful to front on the paved road especially when we have snow as the county plows the road. New photos are being added to the marketing today to show the excellent parking and access to quaint little Cabin Fever.

Very Quaint Cabin
Posted Sep. 16, 2024 on HomeAwayVery quaint and unique cabin! Looks right out to the trees and valley. Easy access from main road via a few stairs. Almost at the end of the paved road so fairly quiet and private. Updated with all the normal amenities and warmly comfortable furnishings. Great place for some R&R. Host Bonnie went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time.

Cabin Fever
Posted Aug. 21, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had a great time and the host is verg accommodating. The cabin is great for a couple and kids considering the loft is tiny so keep that in mind when booking

Absolutely Fabulous!
Posted Jul. 8, 2024 on HomeAwayThis cabin is quite something. You feel like you're the only person in the world. We honestly could not hear one sound, other than nature while we were there. You are immersed in the woods, the cabin is so cozy, and comfortable, and has anything and everything you could hope for. Bonnie is quite wonderful, communicative, generous, and just an overall delight. We cannot wait to go back!

So glad we can share Cabin Fever with folks from around the world. Loved hearing your story of growing up in France and enjoying fireworks over the lake with the Alpes in the background. We are blessed to live here full time and realize even a few days on this mountain is good for the soul!

Beyond welcoming!
Posted Jul. 2, 2024 on HomeAwayNot only was the cabin perfect, with a perfect location (far enough away but also, not completed isolated), Bonnie also offered so many resources for our group to enjoy ourselves, explore the region and (most importantly) relax. We received a beautiful tour around the mountain and given so many options of places and activities to check out. Bonnie and her family were even ready to help us at a late hour (we are even more appreciative for all of you for that). So grateful for the experience and opportunity to meet!

It was such a pleasure to meet you and your group. So glad you could all have the two weeks here to escape from the busy city to refresh. Looking forward to seeing you again soon! Happy Summer to all.

Cozy Little Cabin
Posted Jun. 17, 2024 on HomeAwayIt was a nice relaxing cabin to stay in. Definitely communicate with property manager to find out what pots/pans/dishware they have because the nearest grocery store is an hour away. Best to bring your food ahead of time. It's a drive to go up and down the mountain. But overall it was a great place to chill out and relax

VRBO does automatically send our House Manuel with lots of helpful info including the closest major market is an hour away. So, you will want to plan your meals accordingly. The General Store is a great place for ice cream, chips, milk and beverages and camping supplies. They should always have S'mores just in case! Glad you enjoyed your stay.
