All new oceanfront private pool beach house on Pawleys Island is under construction, meeting deadlines, and ready to rent starting April 26, 2025.

Photo gallery images show recent progress updated on Jan 20 and again on Feb 11, 2025. The homeowners and their extended family are eagerly awaiting their SHAKE DOWN stay during the month prior to the "grand opening" rental date.

Located in the charming Bird’s Nest section on the island’s south end, this home boasts beautiful direct beach and ocean views, an elevated saltwater pool, and nearby public access to the creek.

Families will love the single-level living option this raised two-story home provides! All the common areas as well as the screened front porch, two bedrooms, two full baths AND the saltwater pool are located on the first floor – plus an elevator that transports to the first floor from under the house. Now that’s Easy Living!

The pool, with wraparound deck and heating option (included), has direct access from the combination great room/dining area where guests can also enjoy an electric fireplace, large TV, games area, and oceanfront balcony with private boardwalk to the beach.

The ocean and pool are in view at every turn within the open-concept common areas. Well-appointed and fully equipped, the kitchen boasts a breakfast bar with the best seat in the house. The western facing screened porch comes with swing rope chairs and promises of memorable sunset serenades.

On the top floor are two primary bedroom suites, each with a king bed, ceiling fan, TV and ocean or creek view. In between these bedrooms are mirror-image bathrooms with double sinks, garden tub, and walk-in shower. Access to one of the side-by-side bathrooms is from the hallway to be shared with the other two top floor bedrooms.

The ground floor offers elevator access, grill, ping pong table, outdoor shower, and spacious covered parking.

BEACH GEAR: Receive a limited credit toward beach gear rentals by VayKLife! Make your vacation FUN and EASY by having your favorite beach equipment delivered to your rental home. Reservation must be 7 to 21 nights between Apr 1 and Oct 31.

POOL: The 200 sq. ft. elevated oceanfront saltwater pool with patio surround is 4.5 feet deep. Heating is included and available upon request but only when the outdoor temperature is steadily above 67 degrees. Minimum 24-hour notice is needed for heat to take effect.

MAIN FLOOR: (2 bedrooms) 1 QUEEN, 2 SINGLES, 2 full baths (1 with tub/shower, 1 with shower only), kitchen with breakfast bar, dining area, great room with electric fireplace, direct pool access, vaulted ceiling and oceanfront balcony, direct ocean views from kitchen/living area, screened front porch, laundry room, elevator to main floor.

TOP FLOOR: (4 bedrooms) 1 KING, 1 KING, 1 QUEEN, 1 BUNK SET (2 Singles), 2 full baths (each has walk-in shower and garden tub), ocean or creek view from every bedroom.

HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: All short-term stays include departure clean service, bed and bath linens, and beds made upon arrival. Linens and housekeeping service are additional costs for monthly stays.

LENGTH OF STAY: Saturday to Saturday stays only in summer. Partial week stays may be considered for last minute bookings. Monthly winter rental inquiries are welcome.

DOG FRIENDLY: This Dog Friendly home invites you to bring the whole family. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their dog. Guests bringing a dog must make it known at the time of booking and will be required to pay additional rent. Maximum 2 adult dogs. Dogs are allowed on the beach during daylight hours and must be leashed.
