Kohls ranch is awesome. Love the property and the cabins are super cute. Lots of things to do. Pool and hot tub were nice plus they had other activities on site as well. Staff were super friendly. Dinner at restaurant was delicious too. Would definitely visit again.

The property has loads of charm however is a bit dated. We did use the kitchen which was adequate for a couple nights but not long term stay. The restaurant was closed and is only open Friday - Sunday to be aware. Closet town is 30 min drive away so bring supplies if you want to enjoy the surroundings without having to drive back to town.

We booked a specific room type and were given a different one. The one we were given did not have a full kitchen like we were shown when booking through expedia. Kohl's Ranch told us this must have been an error on expedia's part because this is how it came in. I looked back at my reservation and confirmed the booking showed correct so I am not sure where the confusion came in but it had me in tears and a big argument with reception.

Absolutely loved our cabin here. We had a 2 bedroom cabin and stayed one night and will definitely be back. The beds and pillows were comfy. The creek running behind the cabin peaceful and a big deck for grilling and relaxing. We chose to eat at the restaurant on property and it was AMAZING. pool area was great staff was pleasant and accommodating highly recommend. The area is beautiful

Loved our stay! The lodge is so cute, and the staff is great! There are so many activities at the lodge. Rooms were very comfortable, and having a kichenette was very nice. We will be back.

Perfect little mountain resort
We were driving through Payson and decided to stay. This was a fun resort with outdoor games and a pretty mountain setting. It is a little older style, but had a nice fireplace going in the lobby. The price was great as it was off season. We ate at the restaurant which was convenient and pretty good. I had BBQ brisket.

Property is warm, welcoming, and cozy. Friendly staff. Grounds are well kept. All amenities are offered. Wi-Fi is intermittent. Not much of an inconvenience for us, since we are not on our devices as much. We will recommend this property to our friends.
