Relax and read, bike or hike, spend some well-earned rest with friends & family around the firepit. Sleep in, or boat in Woods Canyon Lake. Soak up the peaceful outdoors. Cool out in the falling rain with a cup of coffee. Payson Golf Club only a few miles away for a great summer round. Extend your vacation time with a work/play flexcation : work remotely for a few weeks - out of the Valley sun - with broadband and quiet desk setup.
The space
Full downstairs flat - completely separate space from upper space - 2 beds, 1 1/2 bath, full kitchen, private patio. Spare storable futon for a 9th guest!
Guest access
Residential neighborhood just out of downtown Payson. Park at top of driveway loop or in the gravel spot next to mailbox to avoid steep driveway.
Other things to note
Lower floor is completely autonomous. Upper floor is kept by full time tenants.

The best BNB we have stayed at!
We absolutely loved our stay here in Payson. The space was amazing and clean, very spacious, beds were very comfortable, the place had every item you could think of needing in the kitchen/bathroom/etc. We were welcomed with homemade cookies and a festively decorated space for St. Patrick's day. Everything was so thoughtful and just made our trip so amazing!

Payson Trip
The hosts are incredibly kind and communicative and there are lots of thoughtful touches around the home. I did not realize we were staying in a quad plex though, and the upstairs neighbors were so noisy both nights past midnight. However, this is the first VRBO I’ve stayed in that didn’t have a crazy check out list like trash, stripping beds, and washing dishes. That balances out the noisy neighbors and earns five stars. I would definitely book again.

Home away from home
This place was so nice and very accomidating. It has everything you need and more. It is decorated so cute with a St. Patricks theme currently. We had a nice time here with our family. My family loved the homebaked cookies and snacks.We would definitely come here again.

We stayed for one night and wished we had extended our trip because the house was so nice. Truly great space for small families or couples. Everything is labeled nicely in the home and loved how thoughtful the owners were with a welcome treat and snacks.

Wonderful stay
Our stay was wonderful. We enjoyed thoughtful snacks, and the fresh baked cookies. Our troop plans an annual winter getaways. The scouts enjoy playing games and enjoying winter activities but this year there was no snow in the area. The boys enjoyed the stay despite no snow.

Perfect Payson Retreat
This property was cozy, comfortable, and welcoming. It has everything you need for your stay, including fresh cookies upon arrival. We stayed 11 nights to explore the Payson area as a potential place to relocate. We were not disappointed. The security system was a little disconcerting with the eye of the camera following your every move on the patio.

Christmas tree trip
The stay at your property made our trip so much more enjoyable. As soon as we entered the house it had a warm and inviting feel to it. The Christmas decorations were an excellent touch, beautifully done! Everything was provided to a welcoming stay, including Smores for the boys, doggie bowls and a toy for our pup and extremely comfortable beds and couches. My kids were already planning their next stay. Thank you for making this stay so special and inviting, we will definitely be staying again when in the area.

Steep Hill
Property excellent. Located on the steep hill. Driving up & down is treacherous especially for seniors. Two steps in the house which is also treacherous although well marked. The description of the property should be more clear, honest & deliberate. Good luck to the seniors.

It felt like coming home again. This was our second visit.
We had a nice visit, the home is always clean and tidy. It more than meets our needs. There are many hikes in the area, and Green valley park is beautiful to walk around. It’s in a good location to hiking, and lots of thrift shops.

Good Value
Excellent value. Nice little place. The owner has thought of everything, so all the little extra details are tended to—drinks in the fridge, some complimentary snacks, toiletries. We were well taken care of. Be aware that this is a duplex type situation. You are on the first floor. There is a resident living on the 2nd floor. We could hear some sounds, mostly footsteps, above us. But it wasn’t a problem. Overall we were very happy. So affordable. And far superior to an equivalent-priced hotel room.

Short trip to see some fall color
The rental was very clean, everything you need is right here, soaps, coffee, snacks, hot chocolate, popcorn. It’s so cute and decorated for fall. Nice very comfortable beds, shower is nice and hot!! It’s a very good central location. Close to hiking trails, waterwheel falls, lavender farm.

Cozy Hideaway in Payson, Arizona
Sophia’s home is lovely, cozy, clean comfortable and very well equipped lots of towels, snacks coffee she thinks of everything. Totally enjoyed our stay.

The Matterhorn Escape
This place was just perfect for our stay, I had me and my family come up to payson for a softball that i was in and the area couldn't be any more perfect (literally 6min drive to park). The owner also came by with amazing tasting cooking as my kids devoured. Haha. I would definitely be looking for this place again as me and my family are there every year. Great location!
We loved the neighborhood and the downstairs unit was cute. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this place as the tenants upstairs were LOUD, late and very early in the morning…..no sleeping in! A next door neighbor’s dog barked both nights we were there until very late. We also unplugged many of those scented plugins and opened windows to let that awful smell out! Very nice owners but if you want relaxation this is not the place.
